  1. Past hour
  2. Another indicator of AI-generated content is the use of the word 'and' after a comma. I know some people do this in error, but AI always does it. Absolute shocker that a 2nd tier professional club is using AI to write something like this. But then again, for current day Rovers, it feels par for the course.
  3. I've only seen that one released image, but it looks like only half a dozen people turned up. For things like this (such as the evening with Chris Samba a bit ago), they usually show a couple of images of the room - to demonstrate how many turned up.
  4. Seems fine by me.
  5. There's a lot of contradiction on both sides of the argument, but that post has to take the biscuit.
  6. Have you agreed this image use with his family? Some clown on X is asking. Pasha probably putting in a call to Howard as we speak...
  7. Today
  8. Nah, you don't plan for the future. That's a mugs game.
  9. In years to come when Blackburn Rovers are playing in non league or the club is getting wound up by the owners as it isn't deemed financially viable, people will look back and see that there were some that tried to do something about the situation and there were others who were happy to sit back and do nothing as the club was systematically demolished. How are you going to be remembered?
  10. Made little difference to Luton last year when he went into a struggling side and failed to keep them up so strange that Oxford are going down the same route with a weaker squad than Luton had. Unless they're putting one eye on next season potentially being in League One.
  11. It is a fact that none of them are associates
  12. Huh, I always thought it was better to be lazy, attack without purpose and play with a muddled identity. You learn something new every day.
  13. Pratt and McLoughlin don't have a good pass unfortunately. Hopefully Cashin is better in that regard. Still should be back of the queue, there are other areas on the pitch where we are severely lacking in quality.
  14. It is a fact that we tend to associate with like minded people ! I’ve asked a lot of friends and they all see the bigger picture and are prepared to make the sacrifice of missing a game in an effort to save our club.
  15. And still have a chunk of the fanbase eating out of your hands
  16. My die hard Darwen living Pal, ST holder, going to watch Darwen, good on him!
  17. Zero filter. If a fella has a booming Northern accent everyone listens 😂
  18. Indeed and sometimes it could be blunt if annoyed enough. "If I say no it means bloody no" in response to Man United. Or it could just be pure logic as in "you don't score 30 goals" to Sherwood (from a recent article) who felt he also deserved one after Shearer got a new contract.
  19. Did you spot Fergie in the crowd with the ladies lmao
  20. In contrast the pubs I go to in Darwen and in Blackburn 5 from one 6 from another are all boycotting. Vast range of people. Jack the lads to mature fans, to older fans. A number those have also mentioned brothers cousins work mates not attending also.
  21. Perhaps in the future there will be an 'Evening with Rudy' where he explains how to clear out a squad, reduce budgets, transform a potential promotion side to a side just above relegation and instill a culture of fear with the minimum of experience and know-how.
  22. I can only assume that they mistakenly think that McLoughlin is capable cover/competition for Wharton in the middle, and that they already had Miller & O'Riordan (and Carter should he ever be fit) for the right, so they wanted someone to compete with Pratt on the left Personally, I would have gone for someone who could play in the middle, and have McLoughlin competing with Pratt on the left (Pratt would win hands down for me, but it now feels like he will struggle for game time as they will have assured Brighton that Cashin will play no matter what)
  23. Probably because Ismael knew Cashin was going to be signed, and he didn't want to look stupid.
  24. *cliche alert* “This felt like the right place at the right time. Oxford United are a Club with good foundations, ambition, and a playing group with significant potential, and that matches exactly where I am as a coach. “I want my teams to work hard, attack with purpose, and play with a clear identity. Everyone has to understand their role, be accountable, and deliver consistently. “I can’t wait to get out onto the grass and begin working with the players and staff to help this Club push forward this season and beyond.”
