Ohashi once again missing a sitter. He runs himself into the ground, making it harder to stay composed, but we really need a finisher. Would love Szmodics back on loan for the remainder of the season. Good comeback from conceding another soft goal, thought we did well and the midfield with Forshaw and Tronstad worked a lot better than it has in previous weeks. C'mon you Rovers!

I did enjoy seeing VVD, the rest of the Liverpool players and Slot complaining bitterly about a non existent foul for Bournemouth's winner as well. Entitled tossers.
-
Do you gain anything from going these days, bar depression and anger?
-
Just as an aside but has anyone else noticed our half time routine? All season, the opposition subs + trainer come out very early and go through drills/routines. Nothing on our side. Then eventually a few of our subs come out and half-heartedly knock a few balls to each other.

I do still enjoy supporting Rovers. As stated, DE, it's just my opinion. Nothing more. Nothing less. Everyone is free to do as they please, of course. 🙂

Bloody hell. Already 12k+ boycotting over the last 15 years. Sickening seeing comments like this given the clubs situation

It was an improvement in that we didnt get comfortably brushed aside. But it wasnt a good performance in general. It was drab. -

Agree to disagree. I like him as a Championship player, but if I'm a PL scout I look elsewhere. -
Quite so. If the view is that boycotting/ protests etc will make no difference whatsoever, then it doesn't matter in the slightest whether they happen or not does it? Not sure why it's any skin off anyone's nose.

Surely at this point everyone has stopped caring about results, right? The priority is to rid ourselves of these cockroaches. -
Fair enough, what’s your plan on how we get there ?
-
Did you outline how you indend to get there?
-
I mean the dynamic — when it turns into “you’re with us or against us,” it splits people who actually want the same thing. We all want the same outcome, we just disagree on how to get there.

You working hard tricky. 🙂 We've had plenty of managers who expect things to happen. -
There is a certain air of self-satisfaction that boycotting will not have the intended outcome. Shouldn't the protestors be applauded for at least trying something to effect a change? At the very least, one might be neutral about it. But it would appear that a contingent of fans are rejoicing at the thought of it not changing anything? There's something awfully sinister about that.

It is pretty much already 50%, little over 6,000 home supporters today for a Saturday 3pm kick off.
-
Incidentally, is the squad better now than last year?
-
You worried about your job?

The January 2026 Transfer Window

Yuki needs dropping, clearly low on confidence. Jorgensen looks more suited playing down the middle, not sure he's the player we need on the flanks, certainly isn't quick. We need someone who looks to beat his man and carries the ball with pace. -
The wealth of the owners should be a positive, but when it comes to getting rid of them it is their wealth which is the biggest problem. The problem here is that they don't actually need to sell, which is why comparisons with Chansiri and Oyston are missing the point. Their wealth will also deter potential buyers looking for a good deal, you can't bully someone financially if they're richer than you are.

Fewer renewals devastate the club. These fans are telling you they are not willing to attend whilst Venkys are here. You should stand with those fans and not the owners How you have concluded that empty seats create division is beyond me. I think it’s an AI post tbh - what the fuck does empty seats have to do with Reform? And how does it create division if people decide they can’t support Venkys any more and don’t want to part with their hard earned cash? I won’t be replying to you again.

Posters who plod that line out are just gaslighting at this point.

If you think we won't end up in administration if the V's stay in charge that's fair enough but I fear you'll be sadly disappointed. I think the clock is clearly ticking and there's only a limited amount of value left they can squeeze out of it. So to rephrase it your solution is to do nothing and just hope for the best?

I suppose a lot of it comes down to whether you still find any enjoyment from supporting Rovers under Venky's. If you do, then I get the antagonism, but at the same time if the belief is that the boycott is pointless and won't change anything, then no need to be concerned about it. Just let people do what they want to do and keep on doing what you're doing. If you find little to no enjoyment from the club under Venky's, then it makes sense to try and do something about it. Even if it's ultimately futile, there's no shame in trying to enact positive change. There's also no need to fear what would happen if Venky's pull the plug, if you genuinely have zero enjoyment from the club under their tenure to begin with. One day they will go, and a new owner will be needed - why not try and make it possible sooner rather than later?
