  1. Past hour
  2. Elliot Jackson reporting no contact has been made from Everton for Ryan alebiosu as we have a strong hand if any suitors were to come forward.
  3. That's not necessarily true. They could simply cut costs irrespective of the damage that would do. Its not as if they care what division we are in is it?
  4. Yeah he looked like an upgrade at first but to be fair he was signed for a different system than we have now. A shame and best all round he moves on asap now.
  5. Been saying it for a while! (I believe its to not misconstrue people's comment a mock their opinions)
  6. THE top Trump would be Unleaded
  7. I read that 2nd paragraph in Ronnie Barkers voice lmao "We spoke to Biguts and he thinks it's all getting rather silly" 😂😂
  8. Yet for large parts of last season Gueye looked considerably better than Gallagher who stole a wage for many seasons here. Hope he goes on to find some success elsewhere. Him and Ismael was always going to be a marriage made in hell.
  9. Big Mak, Ennis, Telovic, Dennis (loan) and probably someone else easily forgotten. How much is that in fees, agent fees and wages flushed straight down the bog for no return ? Yet they won't pay some solid players a better wage nor sign another striker with a bit of UK pedigree for a fee. Knobs, it's ok saying oh they're only cheap punts or loans but it all costs money, a fair chunk when it's all added up.
  10. We really do need a 😂 reaction on this site.
  11. Today
  12. Support the boycott? Fancy being part of a video montage? Send in a clip of yourself saying 'i am boycotting the Watford match' or something similar to iamboycotting@hotmail.com
  13. Let’s hope so, personally I’d just see them using it as an excuse to further cut costs and mothball/sell off the infrastructure we have left. A Wigan-esque lower league club. We’ll find out either way as BRFC will end up in League 1 sooner rather than later and ST sales will continue to decline.
  14. I think even for these owners, there will be a point of critical mass that we're rapidly approaching. Imo losses exceeding a certain prescribed level that they're prepared to go to will be the only thing that shifts them. They certainly dont seem to mind being unpopular.
  15. I hope the Mak goes on to have a rewarding career in football elsewhere. If anyone could exemplify the sheer ineptitude of the current management structure and its decision making, Makhtar Gueye would be a prime example of what is wrong with our club. Talk about fooking 'hit and hope' - unfortunately for our recruitment 'experts' the lad struggled to hit, and didn't really have any hope of doing justice to his alloted shirt. It's Rovers all over, at the moment though, sadly - hit and sodding hope. Pass me the gin.
  16. Grealish got a second yellow for applauding the referee after getting a free kick, Everton fans seem annoyed but it’s bloody stupid from Grealish who then got in the ref’s face after.
  17. Just my opinion, I think it’s a step they’ll back away from. Time will tell, I suppose. By the way, you are falling in to that trap of thinking these are normal owners. You’re not going to get them out by losing a couple more thousand ST holders either, as losing twelve thousand of them under their watch has shown. Boycott or no boycott we’ll be considerably down on ST holders next season and they will still be here .
  18. Burnley 2-1 down now. Edit: Bugger, 2-2 as I typed!
  19. Why? You're not going to get them out by going "We dont like you but it doesn't matter we'll buy tickets or attend matches regardless." Has to be all or nothing.
  20. Burnley 1-1 now. Thought there was a ridiculous VAR inspired penalty for Citeh in their game v Brighton. Doku took a swan dive over an outstretched leg and the ref (rightly imo) ignored it. Then VAR referred him to the screen and we know what happens next.
  21. Right, all agreed then, people that attend aren’t complicit, but Rovers fans, just like us, who happen to see things differently. I’d be surprised if the Coalition went there with season tickets.
  22. That's against a Coventry who even after that win sit bottom of the group and behind Leyton Orient U21s. So you have to think the red card was the main factor there. That said, 4 of their 5 points have now come against us. Perhaps the Cov u21s carry the same hoodoo over us as their senior side seem to!
  23. match report https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2026/january/07/report--rovers-under-21s-0-1-coventry-city-under-21s/
  24. Whilst Im fully behind the call for a boycott it isn't quite that black and white. People have to decide whether or not to forgo something they've already paid for and there'll be a few like the poster previously who are obliged to attend as a one off due to personal circumstances. Im also not one of those who thinks the result of this initial call to boycott is of crucial importance either way. I assume in due course there'll be a call to supporters to boycott ST purchases for next season. You may (or may not) find there's a more noticeable response to that and either way it'll hit the owners in the pocket harder which will have the most chance of achieving the end goal. Need to do as many different things as possible by way of protest.
  25. Always thought he had plenty of talent, but it isn't much use if you're in the injury room for most of the time.
