  2. Looks like Ismael got "his wish", and exchanged some/all of the transfer budget for "essential works on the pitch" https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/december/10/venue-change-for-fa-youth-cup-contest/
  3. Yeah but the club could come out & say the attendance was 31,000 every game, then our average attendance would be 31,000.
  4. At this stage it is a must not lose. Yes a win would be great but a loss dumps us right in the mire. Even with all the injuries, we ought to have enough with last night's set up to avoid defeat. I wouldn't rate them as better than Oxford.
  5. Its pretty blatantly implied. They are all centre midfielders, and we seem to be in the habit of boxing off midfielders into holding midfielders and box to box midfielders. He said that Tronstad (our holding midfielder) has back up of Forshaw and Montgomery. He also said Baradji is box to box and suggested that Tavares isnt either. In which case, why sign 3 players for the same one position?

  8. Where did he say Baradji, Tavares and Gardner-Hickman are considered box-to-box midfielders? If you're going to relentlessly argue with him, at least be honest.
  9. Dale And Grace - I’m Leaving It All Up To You
  10. The irony. Its realistic to try and rectify all of our transfer and squad issues if the owners are willing to do so.
  11. Ive no idea what your point is anymore. That makes no sense.
  12. I know we are better away but difficult to predict a win here. It's another must win game though.
  13. Deflect? Coming from you refuse to answer a simple and straightforward question is utter and totally baffling
  14. Cos we have more key players then now like Hyam, Batth, Brittain, Weimann all here and players. Cantwell is the key player for us and going into the season keeping him fit was always the crucial thing for me determine our season.
  15. You don't factor in giving players time to settle in. You are obsess with Baradji being signed injured Just easier to not answer simple and straightforward question Unless we know what the exactly wages how do we. When people post wage salaries you dismissed it as BS yet you were moaning about queueing up for a beer.. I would be spend around 10 pounds per game if it served decent food instead local businesses get that money. Rovers food options have been dire for years pre Venkys. You go to Hull and its very good offer of food on show so why cant we do the same
  16. So its just pesky injuries. We finished 7th last season. Travis and Tronstad missed big chunks of the season, Ohashi was out for ages, Beck was out repeatedly, Carter was out repeatedly, Wharton was out all season, Kargbo ripped his hamstring as soon as he started a game, Cantwell kept missing games. Sorry, doesnt add up.
  17. If Baradji, Tavares and Gardner Hickman are all considered "box to box midfielders." Then why arent you asking why we signed 3 of them when we play only 1, whereas we have just made do with Montgomery who came into the season having never started a game there (he seems more of a box to box midfielder too to me) and Forshaw who clearly doesnt have the body to play regular Championship football. I dont think Tavares is a box to box midfielder either to be honest. You are really tripping yourself up trying to deflect any blame away from the club in favour of just blaming injuries.
  18. Just more and more BS. its was simple question to answer. You avoid it for whatever BS reasons On the Tronstad replacement point with him being here he would help him settle into the club and not have rush into the team. Nixon's propaganda piece?.🤣🤣🤣 Must be true then if their fans said so. Cos of key players being unavailable like Toth, Cantwell and Tronstad. Cantwell is a big miss. I dont think Miller or McLoughlin are so bad you or others are saying. You always want to spend and spend all the time..pleased you arent in charge of my financial budget cos it over every single day.
  19. Well I’ve got every right to be optimistic as we are the second best away team in the division.
  20. A player who signed but isn't a 'signing'. Make that make sense!
  21. You dont factor in quality. We have a large number of players mainly signed in the summer who in theory should provide that cover but are that bad that they dont. The injuries we have in midfield wouldnt be problematic if Tavares wasnt woeful, Henriksson wasnt woeful and Baradji wasnt signed with a long term injury. Its easier just to make excuses. Cut backs in wages overlooked. Cut backs in concourse food quality for some reason not overlooked.
  22. They've not been great at Fratton Park this season. They are the lowest scorers along with us at home apart from Sheff Wednesday. (That doesn't include the 2 goals we had "rained off"). Defensively we have been OK. If Tronstadt plays I think we could nick this.
  23. To reiterate, he would not be my pick, but I can see a signing of that ilk (cheap & hard working striker to come on and save Ohashi's legs in the second half of games)
  24. What drugs are you on, the other way round, 3-0 pompey. We've lost or drawn to every club below us, its a home banker win.
  25. We’re away mate. Thank god we’re not at home
