  1. Past hour
  2. Rovers, experience, precedent... Of course all football fans live in hope ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. or was it deliberate ๐Ÿง๐Ÿง๐Ÿ˜
  4. You seem to have disregarded the content of my previous post and just replied to something else
  5. Baradji will come in 100% if Travis leaves, he has to...Mafoumbi will be released or sold.
  6. 48 times by myself ๐Ÿ™‚ You are most welcome, I will endeavor to say it again when it is next relevant
  7. Really? Iโ€™ve seen plenty of posts insisting that we are weaker now. In spite of signing six players. Most of whom none of us (including myself) have seen play. At best thatโ€™s saying the players weโ€™ve signed are no better than the ones whoโ€™ve left, at worst those posters are saying the players whoโ€™ve signed are shite. My point is, how could any of us know? Itโ€™s not even like the Danny Batth, Weiman, Cantwell etc situation last year where there wouldโ€™ve been a number of fans who had watched those players and formed an opinion. We could be significantly worse off, or we could be significantly better off. Only time will tell.
  8. Perhaps BRFCS should have its own celebration.
  9. Hasn't Elliott said Baradji won't be coming now as all our eSC slots have been taken up with Axel ? Only way it can happen is if Mafoumbi is moved on
  10. Not sure that's the message from VI. but thanks for repeating something mentioned 56 times on the thread.
  11. Iโ€™ve never tried it so donโ€™t know if the court has a โ€˜blockโ€™ but there are certainly buttons to allow me to unmute my mic or enable my camera.
  12. I agree with all of this. Just canโ€™t wait to see them in the flesh first.
  13. I think we can all agree that no more money will be spent after Baradji. Our budget was 5million if I'm not mistaken, we are surely in n around that mark after Henriksson and Baradji.
  14. Income does not impact the budget - Rudy Apr 25 ๐Ÿ˜‰
  15. It's a big if, but if the Brittain money helps us bring in a better wide player to replace RH, then maybe we won't be weaker overall.
  16. I've not outright said it but I've voiced concern SPL fans don't think he's a technical player, and outside of Korea (recent loss), Saudi (recent win) and Japan (recent win) - I don't pay much attention to his overlapping ability against Indonesia and Bahrain Very excited to be proved wrong
  17. Think his overall point is that people saying x player is not as good as x without seeing both play.
  18. I look forward to all the new replacements -of course, time will be needed for bedding in, adapting to the new project and transition - and then I look forward to significant expenditure in January for reinforcements for a definite promotion push that will propel us into the top 6 -it's been coming for some time now (apart from league 1 of course)....
  19. We could be stronger if we sign a right winger who can make things happen. My reservations are - I havenโ€™t seen many good 6โ€™2โ€ fullbacks and not many centre halves make good full backs. Of course Iโ€™ll reserve judgement until Iโ€™ve seen him play in the flesh.
  20. I think very few, if any, have written players off before seeing them play. What has happened, is people have noticed patterns over years, looked at the experience/careers/price/etc of players going out, vs payers coming in, and come to a conclusion. I said a few days ago that in most cases, any players brought in are likely to be an immediate downgrade on any they replace. Now this doesn't mean that any new signings are going to be rubbish, and it doesn't mean that they wont improve, and possibly even given time, be better than those who they replaced. But it is a logical step, seeing as we are in general replacing experienced Championship performers with younger players from overseas
  21. Itโ€™s a great pointโ€ฆ The number who are โ€˜concernedโ€™ or blatantly claim were weaker now, simply because theyโ€™ve not seen the signings play is laughable. Listen, all of the players weโ€™ve signed COULD be shit, but Iโ€™m not stupid enough to write anyone off until Iโ€™ve watched them play and the number of fully grown men willing to do so is truly bewildering! ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฃ
  22. And to be fair he wasn't a good right-back. Remember him taking a lot of stick from the Riverside (no surprise there!) Moving him into midfield was inspired though. Was that Tony P or Don Mackay who did that?
  23. Anyone remember the collective attitude, when Mark Atkins replaced Chrissy Price?
  24. I will make a further prediction When Liverpool replace Salah, that will also be a downgrade However, his replacement will still be good, probably one of the best Both of those things can be true simultaneously
