I wanted to see Yuki greeting him not Rudy! π -
What a great game for a neutral. Newcastle were the better team overall but Liverpool were lucky but we good goals.
-
Theyβve scored 3 great goals to be fair, far from their best and showing fragility at the back but getting the job done
-
Great finish from that Liverpool youngster. Liverpool have been wank, deserve nothing.
-
They may not get it 2-3! This fixture tends to deliver

I am just a visitor here , but I see plenty of Rovers fans on the Lancashire games and hopefully we have a few Lancashire members reading this message board. If you are a member , you are likely being bombarded with messages from the club telling you to vote against 2 resolutions that some members have put forward. That in itself might make you feel suspicious. If it feels like you only know one side of the story that is because the full supporting wording from petitioning members has not so far been allowed to be distributed (citing defamation), we are not allowed to directly contact members to put our case forward as the club do with their case, and leafleting in the ground results in expulsion as a member. That leaves word of mouth and the internet. Even internet posters are now being hounded by the clubs lawyers so I will not go in to much detail here as I do want to get the good people of this site in to any trouble. You may already be persuaded from that to vote FOR our resolutions. But in a nutshell, there are 2 resolutions remaining. The first is a slightly technical one, to vote no confidence in the way the Nominations Committee operate. This is being misrepresented by the club who are implying we want rid of this committee. Not true - we simply want it to operate within the rules so that in a members club all members have the chance to be elected on to the board. Democracy is important. The second resolution is a vote of no confidence in the CEO Daniel Gidney. Some people who have stated their reasons for supporting this have had legal letters so I am just going to simply say I think it is time for change at this once great, proud, cricket club. I hope you agree. Please support both motions by voting FOR, by following the link on the email you will have got from MiVoice . You may appoint the lead petitioner Nick Evans as your proxy if you are not attending the SGMs, or. the chair if you prefer. And if you know any Lancashire Members please pass on the word.

well done Newcastle. They deserved at least a point

We signed 9 (I think?) players last summer. Most of them were players that Eustace really wanted, even though they didn't fit in with the new approach of the club. He very much got his way on that front, and he is employing the exact same tactics at Derby, so it is hard to deny that he was the driving force behind those transfers. It's also easy to just say 'frees and loans', but those do come with wages. Dennis was 20,0000 a week. Cantwell will be on a big wage for us. Weimann and Batth were likely on decent wages. Beck, Baker, and Cozier-Duberry would have been a combination of decent wages and/or decent loan fees. Ismael may find himself in a situation where there is more money available for 'transfers' because he is rejecting (or at least accepting the club's strategy) the idea of loans and older freebies. I'm not defending the club or our owners, and more money should be made available for transfers, but I'm not sure that our signings this summer really represent an increase (even if 5 million is spent on a forward). -

Very hardworking and positive guy in dressing room. He can play as left winger, AM, left back and wing back. He was our best player in second part of last season, when he was playing as midfielder that goes wide. I don't know if he will be good. He had 14 goals and 14 assists last season - which are great number, but it was more due to his amazing form from february till end of season. Before and after (this season) he was just an ok 12th player for the team. With right coach? Maybe? But you will like him anyway. Morishita was very good last season, but he looked very bad in Iordanescu's more direct system, so I figure they thought it was the last chance to cash in on him. Edit: I actually think he needs some rest. He is playing non stop since february with almost no vacation, cause after ending season he went straight to national team. From a Legia fan -

I don't see as massive holes cos we don't know how well these new signings will play and that will be judge as the season goes on. Not at all, we don't whether we have signed quality replacements for those who have left or will left. Also you need to factor in that we are playing differently tactical. Losing both is a hole but we need to see how good Alebiosu and Tavares/Baradji will be at replacing them. Alebiosu was impressive on Saturday and Tavares we seen something to work with. Looking forward to seeing Baradji play after the international break Yes I have read Ismael's comments over Travis from the post match Hull game about being let down, so clearly something has happened there, what we don't know but I am surprised Travis move to Derby hasn't been confirm yet Yes Batth was very good last season, but would he this season, I don't know, Derby fans don't seem happy with him. On Weimann, Squad player who nick a few goals a season Surely that needs to judge over a season? Well Eustace isn't showing that. Both will be judge on results. Cantwell looks much fitter but also given him the captain armband seems to upped his performance. -

Love the guy already. Feels good being a rovers fan this weekend. -
Well, that was the worst defensive line I've seen of a free kick. 2-2

Theyβll have loads of games where they wonβt be great or even good but still win, itβs an annoying trait Burnley had last season as well Having said that 2-2, even if they win itβs 2 league games giving up leads too easily

So you dont agree that Ismael is a downgrade on Eustace? Same question to you @chaddyrovers who has liked it. You wanted Ismael gone after 7 or 8 games and wouldnt commit to saying that your gut feeling is that Ismael is going to work out the other day. And loved Eustace. So a bit confused. -

Can't see the Soumano signing happening if I'm honest. Too many other clubs linked. As someone has said anyway his YouTube highlight reel doesn't fill me with any great enthusiasm -
Is it just me, or are Liverpool just not that good?

Should be easy enough to mock up a Derby badge that says Rovers Rejects instead. -
