Big if. Equally, it will be very difficult to maintain the away form across an entire season, both will level out to a degree. Hard to close out games with some of the dreadful squad players we have. Gestede said we have a better squad at the start of the season. I know even you have agreed that he was wrong. So I dont get why you think we could challenge for the play offs with a weaker squad. -

An away end like PNE has a high percentage that don’t go to home games very often, though the ones that actually do may get together with pals that sit in different areas at home matches, plus beer and no wonder it’s far more raucous than a sparse Ewood. -
Both have the ability & potential, both also better on the ball than Pratt, Litherland is a year further along than Atcheson in terms of age & experience though

Great, has there ever been a game abandoned twice for the same reason ? -
Who of Litherland or Atcheson will follow in Pratt footsteps?

Missing my point entirely it’s not about which player was at fault or blaming or making excuses it’s about game management that is the theme that runs through each game where we have conceded in the 90+ minute - Today

Usually in away matches we allow the home team to dictate the tempo and we react accordingly. Our tactics sometimes reflect this by affording them more possession in certain areas and other aspects Generally this is the norm for most Championship games. In the majority of our home games we haven't really done this but allowed the visitors to dictate how the game is played with the QPR game being a good example. We allowed them to play a really slow tempo and seemed happy to match it. We have to play home games on our terms and let the opponents come up with a way to combat this and then have another way of playing according to how the game is going. -

How many of those signings would have got into last seasons fully fit team ? Gudjohnsen, maybe. Alebiosu - easily good enough but Brittain was playing well. Morishita, again maybe. After that you’ve said it. -

a bit of both. If we could sort out the home form then I think a challenge for playoffs is possibility. some signings won't work out as we have already previously discussed -
When they’ve done reduced price tickets previously, they’ve copped some flak for undermining the value of a season ticket. I suspect what they are doing here is trying to compensate for that by saying the offer is only open to s/t holders so it’s a benefit to them alone & they can bring someone of their choosing. If it was £10 ticket to anyone, then the s/t offer is undermined more than it is by doing it this way. It’s a bit like having a finite number of guest passes to the gym for your mates. The hope is that you bring your mate, they like it & sign up. You’re happy because your mate now goes to the same gym, they’re happy because they got a free visit or two & the gym is happy because they’ve acquired a new customer. It’s that principle.

I thought I read 15 points somewhere. They aren't in good form but playoffs could be option if they turn that around. I think he is good coach but he needs the chance to bring in his own players. Need a quality striker in that team -

Because you keep parroting about it being a overhaul. So I am trying to gauge whether you think a lower finish is down to us simply having a poorer squad. Or if its mainly just down to the level of change and once theyve settled we will kick on and return to challenging towards the play offs. -

Do the away fans go to home games or is at a case of boycott? They seems more vocal than the home fans/support. We would need them on Tuesday for sure. -

When you such an overhaul like we did, you expected a drop off at the start as new players settle in, understand the tactics and settle in a new area to live, etc. not sure what you are going on about "some sort of positive project"? maybe he is the ignore list just a thought like I said in previous points, some signings haven't been good enough but some have been. good enough been McLoughlin, Miller, Gudjohnsen, Alebiosu, TGH, Morishita not good so far been Tavares, De Neve, Henriksson too soon to judge Baradji -

We had a guy called Stan Milburn coaching our works team. Jackie Milburn’s brother and Bobby Charlton’s uncle. 587 league games and an England “ B “ international right back. I was playing full back at the time and he helped me a lot with positional play etc. His advice in a situation like that one yesterday were you had to crowd an opponent was - “ Get close enough so your opponent hasn’t enough space to turn with the ball but not that close that he can roll you “ . Or as in yesterday example “ buy a free kick.” Certainly don’t crash into the back of him. -

It's the age old problem of players not managing their actions to the circumstances. Under Sparky I remember Lucas Neill being sent off for a second bookable offence. It was a soft second booking for a challenge in the centre circle. When Sparky was interviewed afterwards he blamed Neill entirely for giving the referee a decision to make when there was no need to. Ditto Hedges yesterday. -
