  1. Past hour
  2. We are being hung out to dry by our ownership, happily aided by Pasha and Gestede. Running a team in the Championship costs money, a ridiculous amount of money, hell even a WASTE of money but people are willing to do it. It makes no sense but it's not our job as fans to justify it. Venkys, just put the club up for sale and dissappear. I know for a fact the two names above wouldn't last a day under new ownership.
  3. I think BBC probably watched what happened with Eliot Jackson at the LT and realised that they'll also be sent packing from Ewood if they dare to ask anyone at the Venky politburo anything more difficult than what their favourite colour is or favourite film.
  4. Think we may see AP in goal in the near future - would reinforce the ”unlucky” narrative by putting large portion of the blame on BT. Also - how can so many of our subs fail to understand offside. Truly frightening
  5. Just look at the subs at 2 nil down away at a team like that, 3 average at best lads off and 3 who are at a league several levels above their ability on. Never ever going to turn games around anywhere with that kind of squad.
  6. Yep, couldn’t agree more with that summary. Absolutely desperate for a win midweek or Saturday but I am struggling to see where the goals are going to come from. Yuki has the one deflection at Hull and Gudjonson is now a few games in without hitting the net and in my experience, any decent striker usually scores on debut or very soon thereafter. If not, confidence dips and deserts them and always seems to end badly and so the lack of goals from strikers is a real worry.
  7. Kevin 'Sit on the Fence' Gallacher wont say boo to a Goose.
  8. Just heard his guff on radio lancs and I think I've heard enough from him now. Banged on about how good we were in first half, said there was lots of positives to take from the game and a good mentality. No pushback against that really from BBC and then Kev Gallacher didn't really disagree too much either in his response to the interview. This fanbase is up against it this season.
  9. You can get used to losing and we look like a team that is becoming used to losing I’m afraid. I’ve seen Rovers get relegated several times and “ We played well but it just didn’t go for us “ ran through each of those relegations.
  10. Indeed. Sadly the reality is as much as I am not a fan of Ismael and would like him gone....I'm also terrified of who the replacement would be. Based on player incomings it'd be an unheard of foreign coach.
  11. Ismael....'we'll take the positives and the attitude'. Please,Just fook off.We all know a dud when we see one.
  12. May as well sack him and replace with another jobber, being a bad manager combined with an ‘unlucky’ one never ends well This is Venkyland though and he’s likely here till he has had enough
  13. Sounds like the perfect manager for Rovers to me.
  14. Grime times. We lack quality and when your best players go off replaced by lads that lack even more, its difficult to see where the goals are going to come from. Unfortunately due to bad club management we've go risky/new/unknown players thrown into championship football with "survival" being the aim. So at this stage, management thinking will remain the same & I can't see they'll sack Ismael.
  15. Yes, and our hope for survival is steadily diminishing as we have lost more games than we have won and drawn combined.
  16. Much more likely that they will not even be aware of how Rovers/Ismael are going, let alone care
  17. Frustrating that venkys won’t care hes on a long term contract that will get renewed when we are relegated as they see him as the long term coach to keep us “ sustainable “ More sad times ahead
  18. They sold Gyokeres for an initial £20M ish, they then got add ons and a sell on, Hamer was about £15M, Sheaf to Wrexham was also £6M or £7M The difference is that Coventry reinvested the money, spent about £20M last season, over £30M the season before, given how transfer income and expenditure is recorded in the accounts/FFP/etc, it's easy to do this and remain compliant
  19. He's lost 11 out of 21 in the League I think whatever percentage that equates to. (Plus Bradford in the Cup)
