What do you mean what's the point in posting them on here? Get off your high horse for a minute and realise that most of this entire thread has just been rumours - most of which haven't materialised. In my opinion, Tugay to Bolton is more realistic than Defoe to Rovers. Not that I was passing comment on it, just posting it on here so that people could decide for themselves.

I'd say get off your own horse, at least the BBC is saying things like: So and so in a car with his dodgy, loudmouth, security guard father says that so and so has seen so and so....

To turn around and post is as "Rumor on BBS" gives it a bit more credibilty that its worth...

and to be honest, I was trying to forestall the enivtable 8-10 posts that follws that aren't people "weighing" the rumor, its jsut the whine and moan and "we cna;t lsoe him, we'll be short, there's no replacement....."

face it, most of us are too quick to drop off the deepend when the tiniest hint of unsubstantiaed bad news strikes...

Have West Ham missed out on Solano then?

I heard that when Dyer got injured Newcastle bumped the price upto £2.5m, and the only way they would let him go is if they completed the Beye and Faye deals, which seem to be taking ages to announce

I think both because Nicko said earlier that Man City cant budge there strikers and have no more cash unless these guys move on and they want a new striker.

Wigan and Mboro have also sold and bought today so thats got to be good but Wigan are looking hard for a new left back with Placente on their list.

Derby still want Nugent off pompey so that will give Redknapp more funds for a new striker possably Diouf.

West Ham want Giles Barnes because Faubert and Dyer are out injured. so hed be a replacement until they get back but Derby wont sell.

Everton are in the hunt for Riquelme but are struggling to get in contact and hes nearing a move to at madrid.

Marcotti has said the player doesn't even want to be in Europe and wants a permanent return to Boca.

Seems a bit of a desperate attempt if they are really going for him.

Boca can't raise that kind of money for a transfer though

From what I heard tonight Atletico have the full numbers of non-european players in their squad, so couldn't sign him.

Im not sure if they were trying to offload someone or not and failed to do so?

I remember a few years ago, we swooped on the collosus that is Jay Bothroyd. Sometimes it is better to not join in the rush.

Huddlestone, Defoe, Barnes and/or Riquelme would be stomking though.

Sparkys said that in the past then i woke up and Nonda was giving an interview to Roversworld. I bet you we do something and John Williams greets him with a smile and a Rovers shirt. ;)

We need to get someone else in the squad it cant keep on getting shorter.

Have you looked at the playing staff numbers recently?

Yes and we are short on good quality back ups in full backs and wingers.

Youth dosent really count.

Man City could not sell Samaras or Vassell - they are moving Paul Dickov to Crystal Palave right now. So they have no money for Henri Camara or anyone else. Well short.

Wigan have NOT got Placente and will NOT get a left back unless the stork brings one.

Middlesbrough want a striker but can't get one and Gary O'Neil has a medical problem that will mean his deal is in staged payments.

Derby are NOT getting Nugent as we speak.

Portsmouth have just failed to sign one of the strikers they want.

Nicko on a Wigan fans forum thingy fans have got the idea that Hutchings wants a lb because of Baines has gone Mcmillan retired and Kilbane is more of a winger. Robinson and Placente were the names which came up.

Gary Oneill will this mean the transfer fee will be lower?
