this could be complete rubbish but i'll say it anyway as imo, he fits the bill.

I heard that nicky hoffs is a target in january? midfield player and a decent one at that.

though he is luved by the feyernoord mob, he would love a chance to play in the prem.

we also have ooijer and rigters who have dutch nationality if thats any help

nicky hoffs played for feyernood against blackburn last season didnt he..he was very poor, out his depth..he must of had about 3 chances, and missed them all..

Good point. Which may mean Bruce? Would require big bucks though. Cant believe the Dingles have that sort..although Flood may be in the money and prepared to splash. As Nicko remarked its not a bad bet... £40m prize and they're only 4 points adrift of some very average sides. McCoist? He's at Rangers. Strange move but..

I was thinking along the lines of Billy Davies, Iain Dowie, etc. But it's a really teaser from Nicko. It could be anyone.

Perhaps they didn't like the fact I broke the Gary Megson story a few days before anyone else.

Or that they would have to sell Anelka.

Or maybe breaking the Jlloyd Samuel, Heidar Helguson and Christian Wilhelmsson signings last summer.
