iamarover Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I would leave that just now. The new face seems to have caught their imagination. And he is not even in the betting... Your mate? So what is McLeish doing if the Scots fail gallantly for the 1,056th time at the last? Surely not the DingleDome? Maybe if given a Dalglishesque wedge from Flood. Hmm. McLeish it is.....bloody ell. Am worried now. That is a very serious move.

Mozzer Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 this could be complete rubbish but i'll say it anyway as imo, he fits the bill. I heard that nicky hoffs is a target in january? midfield player and a decent one at that. though he is luved by the feyernoord mob, he would love a chance to play in the prem. we also have ooijer and rigters who have dutch nationality if thats any help nicky hoffs played for feyernood against blackburn last season didnt he..he was very poor, out his depth..he must of had about 3 chances, and missed them all..
Dave S Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Part-smokescreen although they would like to talk to him. But they are talking to someone else this weekend. They may be talking to Tony Pulis of Stoke this weekend
iamarover Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I don't think its McLeish. Nicko said he was at a club. Good point. Which may mean Bruce? Would require big bucks though. Cant believe the Dingles have that sort..although Flood may be in the money and prepared to splash. As Nicko remarked its not a bad bet... £40m prize and they're only 4 points adrift of some very average sides. McCoist? He's at Rangers. Strange move but..
they_think_its_all_rover Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Young.... is it Aidy Bothroyd?
Dunnfc Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I think its Calderwood, that aberdeen bloke - he seems quite highley rated. but on another bet i did say Grayson 1 week ago.

I was thinking along the lines of Billy Davies, Iain Dowie, etc. But it's a really teaser from Nicko. It could be anyone.
nicko Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I will have to keep this totally quiet until I know how things are over the weekend. But if the guy I am on about gets it then you will be told first... Better still you can hit the Burnley bookies and get a few bob on!
Dunnfc Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Are any of us close? What nationallity is he?
LeftWinger Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Better still you can hit the Burnley bookies and get a few bob on! We can hit the Bolton bookies for you too! Turns out you're not their favourite man. Bolton Fans on Our Alan Anyone who upsets Bolton fans is good in my book

Bolton Fans on Our Alan Anyone who upsets Bolton fans is good in my book Hahaha Nicko Nicko! When we play Bolton weve got to chant " Theres only one Alan Nixon"! Back in to reality what a rubbish article who cares if a journo has got it wrong, the is some stories you get right and some you get wrong. Stick with us Nicko and you will go far. If you had legendry status before youre now a cult hero.
nicko Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Perhaps they didn't like the fact I broke the Gary Megson story a few days before anyone else. Or that they would have to sell Anelka. Or maybe breaking the Jlloyd Samuel, Heidar Helguson and Christian Wilhelmsson signings last summer. Or maybe they just can't read...
