nicko Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 OK, who's 'Blackburn Insider' who will reveal amazing news on the Betfair Forum at 10.30 ?? And, by the way, that's another example of people trying to get wise with info from here. Not happy about this aspect at all.
USRoverME Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I just had a feeling that it would not be good for me to do that. I love google. I figured you'd be too smart for that! but I will say that "winkey + D" is very handy in the office
iamarover Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 It's not bad luck; it's make a load of very bad decisions and then get a load of bad luck. Well the karma from thousands of murdered Thais and a looted Treasury should ensure at least 72 disputed offside decisions and 23 controversial goals conceded next season so my Buddhist mate says. Roque (aka Che Guevara) will nod a last minute winner in front of the loyal Rovers end to rouse the global populace against the Welsh Pretender on the opening day of the season. Prepare for glory.
1864roverite Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 He might have driven down in his new flashy car that was delivered earlier today. I take it RA must have been in video conference with his cohorts at the Bridge, ctv are reporting only that the search is continuing for the new manager.
Hasta Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 And, by the way, that's another example of people trying to get wise with info from here. Not happy about this aspect at all. That's why I thought I'd highlight it. Problem is this thread seems to attract that many non-rovers fans it could be anyone.
tony gale's mic Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 He's off to City Roman will never appoint Sparky in a million years when he had the opportunity to do so just now. Hughes can't realistically come back to Rovers.
Poita Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Thank you very much for the update Nicko. As usual is very much appreciated. I think my f5 button is now faulty.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 If somebody can get the IP of the guy from the other site it should be a simple matter to track them down for the admins. (assuming this is VBulletin?) If it is a guest it may be an idea to have a members only area?
Mozzer Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 so basically we have to hope mark hughes isnt happy with man city's offer? when does he have to give an answer to man city?? are you getting any hints about if mark hughes will take the job??
Hasta Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 And Blackburn Insider, if you're reading, that's not me who's rumbled you and called you an idiot.
1864roverite Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I wouldnt have posted that warning Alan coz like someone suggested earlier, you could have laid a white lie and seen how that had progressed ! slowly slowly catchy monkey
Blue n White Rover Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 OK, wait's over. The papers won't be able to get it in this late. Let's see how long this takes to hit SSN... Roman Abramovich called a halt to naming a new Chelsea manager this evening. He is not happy with the thought of appointing Sparky quickly and wants more time to get the right guy. This is a total embarassment to some of his Chelsea officials who have been teeing up your manager. Abramovich wants to wait and see if some of those who have been sounded out will change their minds and actually want the job. That means Big Phil comes back into the frame, possibly even Rijkaard if he can be persuaded that he does not need a break and maybe it gives them time to work on Ancelotti. Anyway, this means Sparky has to give Man City an answer now - or go back to Rovers. As for Chelsea's next boss, I don't care now, it doesn't affect me. The main focus is what Sparky does with the City offer. Does he jump and take a risk or come back to Rovers and everyone tries to put a positive spin on it. A total farce. Thanks again Nicko, great updates like usual and boy do you now how to keep people waiting! Now back to the Hughes story, do you honestly see him going to City or is that no?
tony gale's mic Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 As if by magic, as soon as nicko posted that, Hughes' odds are drifting back out again.
vintageadidas Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Thanks for the update Nicko as always. I am sure you have had a busy day today! Shame people are posting information on other websites and we have moles on the board. However, i recon this thread is pretty big in the media and many people will be sniffing around. I think i may have lost some £££ on the old betting as it is city all the way now MH.
tony gale's mic Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 He's off to City, without a shadow of a doubt.
iamarover Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 And Blackburn Insider, if you're reading, that's not me who's rumbled you and called you an idiot. Who was the editor of Something Insider who invited Chris Ronnie to his gig... Sounds suspiciously fishy. And as a journo he would be spotting Nicko's uncanny ability to hit the right note ahead of the London press mafia. I think we should be told. He was on here a while back.
S15 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I reckon Steve Patrick is the mole. The cheeky little monkey.
alexanders Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 He's off to City, without a shadow of a doubt. He won't last long. He won't accept all the people involved in transfers. I think he likes to do it his own way. He has made a big mistake.
ABBEY Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 hey wazza what happened to chelsea tv and russsians at 7.30am
Guest fernhurstblue Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 He's off to City, without a shadow of a doubt. He doesnt have any choice - he has burnt his bridges at ewood ..... a sad end, but its his own fault and has got his fingers burnt badly.
USRoverME Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I bet Hughes tells Man City to stuff it, or buys more time, and either way he leaves the tough choice to JW, who won't fire a good manager with 3 years to run on his contract because it makes no financial sence. This will drag on anotehr week.
dj54nna Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Who was the editor of Something Insider who invited Chris Ronnie to his gig... Sounds suspiciously fishy. I often read his blog and to be honest, I think he has other things to do with his time. As for myself, my gambling ends with the Deal or No Deal quiz machine in the pub. Nothing is sweeter than conning money out of Noel Edmonds simply by utilising my massively useless general knowledge.
