tony gale's mic Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 With ten Cate scheduled to have an interview tomorrow and JW allegedly flying out to meet a mystery target today these could be a crucial two days for the future of our club. You would hope that these two days will be the ones that make up JW's mind as to the identity of our next manager, considering he's already met BFS, Ince and McLaren.

nicko Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 OK. The twist was news that John Williams was going to see someone who has not really been mentioned. I had hoped it would be someone good - I have since established that it is a bit of a depressing one. I won't even name him as it's so bad. It's been an odd day, perhaps historic if one or two things work out - but that is another story. On the candidates still running - I can't take this other one seriously. INCE - coaching badge problem being worked on. ALLARDYCE - sweating. MCCLCAREN - sweating. TEN CATE - in the dark since I gave one of hid 'camp' the mother of all rollickings the other day. Frankly that line of commuincation is down.
promoted2001 Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Go on tell us, I want a good laugh! Or at least pm the name to me lol

RovertheHill Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Correct! Some silly sods on here think we should accept peanuts for Bentley. Quite the opposite imo AFTER the cheeky barstewrads profited out of Bellamy whilst denying us and Prem crowds his abilities and disrupted Lucas Neills commitment. If you get a chance then pull their bloody necks out over Barry. After all the Lpool / Gerrard fuelled media talk you should be quite able to as having to back down will not sit well with the scouse hordes. Spot on. Liverpool exploit smaller clubs and their players so I hope that both us and Villa make them pay the correct amount this time. In fact, I hope Chelsea do the same to them by unsettling both Torres and Gerrard as you say. That would be, quite frankly, hilarious. I can see them all now burning their shirts outside the training ground...
Cocker Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Go on Nicko...i need cheering up! who was it?! Yeah if the name was so bad let us know so we can voice our disapproval

rovgers Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 yeah, let us know who. at least McClown and BFS won't seem so bad then.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 That bad? It's gotta be Billy Davies? Unless it is somebody worse. Oh God... EDIT: Unless you want to keep it for a story (which is fair enough), can you reveal it or at least PM it please?
RovertheHill Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Who's commentating at the Euro's that would be considered that bad? Surely not David Pleat...
yoda Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Oh come on Nicko, is it Dave Edmundson? he's doing a fine job where he is!
Cocker Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 To be fair Nicko...when isn't Allardyce sweating. Very Good
sandstorm Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 I had hoped it would be someone good - I have since established that it is a bit of a depressing one. I won't even name him as it's so bad. Henning Berg? Jean Tigana? Elie Baup?
nicko Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 All I will say is that it's best he remains anonymous,
madrover Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Is it that Perrin twerp? Not Raymond Domenech! Please!!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Raymond Domenech would be quality. "Bentley is a Scorpio, therefore Paul Gallagher will be playing on the right wing..."
Alex Rover Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Oh come on Nicko, is it Dave Edmundson?HaHa., If someone forgets their kit will they have to play in "skins"
