BuckyRover Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 The Ince haters are definitely wearing a bit thin. Firstly you expect us to beat Fulham saying a 0-0 is definitely not good enough. Yet when we beat Fulham 1-0 instead of saying "great", you say "I can't believe he was playing for a 0-0, we should be beating these teams??" How can we win a game if we are playing for a 0-0. Surely if playing for a 0-0 the most likely outcomes are a draw or even a defeat?

Billy Castell Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 I think if we beat Chelsea 3-0, some here will still complain that the team let Deco have a shot on goal, RSC missed a sitter and Ince's tie didn't go with his shirt! We have had a win, and a clean sheet. It is an improvement on the previous two games. Be happy with that at least.
gumboots Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 They looked bloody good- lucky for us they had a useless striker in Zamora. If he quit whinging and stuck it in they'd be on to somethig good Watch your language, Dan I'm reading it!

thenodrog Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Not sure just how 'strong' they were - on the radio last night they said that Fulham had made 8 (I think) changes from Saturday's game and that they looked very disjointed as though the players had never met each other before. But obviously don't let things like that distract you from looking for any opportunity for a pop at Ince!! Seems popular on here but don't shoot the messenger DaveyB. From the BBC match report....... "Burnley 1-0 Fulham Burnley-born Jay Rodriguez put his Championship side into the Carling Cup fourth round after his goal knocked Premier League Fulham out. Now unbeaten in six, Burnley found themselves on the back foot with Fulham's £10m Andy Johnson threatening. Both sides had chances yet a strong Fulham could not make their class tell. "
BuckyRover Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Keep trying Gord. Maybe we we lose again soon.
