Tell me Nigel what are your thoughts on Rovers conceding 34 goals in 17 games, an average of 2 goals per match? This is a side that conceded 48 goals in total last season, what has changed?

According to our manager, the defence was a problem for us last season too.

Thing is, it might have been only a proportion of the crowd chanting Ince out on saturday, but that's cos a lot had left by the time the chants got going and also there were people like me in the crowd who, despite the club doing its best to make me lose it, still want to retain my dignity and not descend to the levels of abuse that I was feeling inwardly. Make no mistake, it was almost every fan I heard leaving the ground saying "enough is enough". And I'm not 16 or anywhere near it. I'm more than 3 times that and I was sick of watching the utter tripe that was served up on Saturday. If the manager gives up when his team go 2 nil down then he shouldn't be manager - end of.

According to our manager, the defence was a problem for us last season too.

We had the occasional shocker, Birmingham on the last day being an example but its blatantly obvious that our defence is far worse this season. If we continue to concede 2 goals per game then in 7 games time, 24 games in total we will have equalled our total last season.

Winterburn came out with the usual stuff, surprised to hear him moaning about international breaks. These breaks affect every club so i don't see why it can be used as an excuse.

So my Winterburn prediction was right. Only shock was that it wasn't filmed at the Emirates/Arsenal training ground.

At least it's not a clear indication that Ince will be given the Stoke game. Old Nige is seen around Blackburn less than Johann Vogel is, so he wouldn't have a clue what's going on.

No doubt Sky will be banging on about Nige sticking up for Ince. He's hardly gonna boot himself out of his job is he?!..Heck if I was getting paid to do jack all then I'd be trying to stay in my job.

Why dont we do what Tottenham are doing. Get a new manager in but surround him with ex-blackburn boys - i.e. Hendry, Newell, Gallagher, Parkes, Mimms, Faz, Ripley etc.
