Backroom Tom Posted August 19, 2009 Backroom Posted August 19, 2009 Ghilas has been subbed for Hull already tonight
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Hull just scored. Hull 1-2 Spurs Come On Hull!!!
Backroom Tom Posted August 19, 2009 Backroom Posted August 19, 2009 Nah I want Spurs to win that one, the more teams struggling at first the better it is for us
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Nah I want Spurs to win that one, the more teams struggling at first the better it is for us I never want Spurs to win, i despise that club more than any other in the prem.
DeadlyDirk Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 If it hadn't been mentioned yet then Negredo is the latest player to turn down Hull http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5500910,00.html So glad they missed out on him!!!
RovertheHill Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Not really PL but watch the Atletico Madrid 3rd goal from Aguero. Superb Edit - and the Panathanikos 2nd is even better!
philipl Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 Some absolute belters scored in the Prem tonight.
Backroom Tom Posted August 19, 2009 Backroom Posted August 19, 2009 As many predicted both Hull and Pompey have started with 2 defeats, really think those 2 will go down with 1 other from many
Hughesy Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Bad result for Pompey tonight - especially to lose in the last minute........ Also Everton - what are they doing, keeping an unhappy player is one thing but to then axe him is just crazy. Sell the bad egg!
Backroom Tom Posted August 19, 2009 Backroom Posted August 19, 2009 Apologies for my earlier post it was Cousin who was subbed early for Hull not Ghilas
Backroom Tom Posted August 19, 2009 Backroom Posted August 19, 2009 Just seen Defoes hattrick, wow, amazing
Hughesy Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Big club - 1st home game of the season - attendance 19,922 Also Wigan v Wolves - 16,661
47er Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 See Moyes has dropped Lescott for showing a "poor attitude". In the end the player will get his dream transfer. I just wish McCarthy had!
Fylde Coast Fan Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Was Hart not brought in as caretaker only , Colchester are looking for a Manager. He was, originally. When Dr Sulaiman was lined up to invest some money they agreed to give him the job permanently despite Sven's declared interest - the first of many red flags into the perilous state of their finances.
alexanders Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 United was really pants last night. I wonder if they are going to strengthen before the window shuts. They really look like they were lacking flair and creativity. Giggs is Old, Anderson was really bad, Rooney is too deep, Carrick missed a penalty.
brian_gallagher85 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I think you'll find that Rooney is far from deep
Ricky Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Dont think it helped that they were without Vidic and Ferdinand last night, Foster doesn't inspire me with confidence either. They need to improve a hell of a lot otherwise they could be the team pushed out of the Champions legue places.
Billy Castell Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 As their current squad stands, Man Utd are in very bad shape. The midfield, which is so important to them is either too old or not good enough for a title challenge, and their strikers are dodgy. Everton are doing the right thing, let the baby sit in the naughty corner for a bit. We mustn't let the agents and unprofessional sheep botherers win. Portsmouth are really looking poor and it is only 2 games in. Suliman the Indecisive hasn't bought them yet, they have no money and they have a manager who is way out of his depth.
philipl Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 Pompey cannot afford to buy Shittu and McCann from Bolton so have offered Nugent in exchange. Distan will finally go to Villa. Chelsea's interest in Aguerro is over after he played CL qualifier last night.
Billy Castell Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I'd turn Pompey down straight away. They must be up the creek if they can't afford those two.
Hughesy Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Dont think it helped that they were without Vidic and Ferdinand last night, Foster doesn't inspire me with confidence either. They need to improve a hell of a lot otherwise they could be the team pushed out of the Champions legue places. Seriously some people take 1 result far too much! No way in this world will United finish lower than 4th. Its 1 game..... its a one off.
riverside returns Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 It is fairly normal for Utd to get off to a stinker of a start. They will give someone a hiding soon and head towards the top end (as much as I despise them)
Craigman Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/englis...r-to-leave-post Rafa 1/2 for the first manager to leave post
Billy Castell Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 That would be strange. Would it be due to a lack of funding and/or falling out with the owners?
