Backroom DE. Posted April 2, 2011 Backroom Posted April 2, 2011 Might give corner taking duties to somebody who can beat the first man now, at least.
sam_rovers Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 im afraid this may end up closer to a tennis score than a football score:(
Grabbi Graeme Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Line up Robinson, Salgado,Samba,Nelsen,Olsson, Emerton,Nzonzi, J Jones, P Jones,Hoillet, Santa Cruz Subs Bunn, Dunn, Rochina, Benjani, Hanley, Roberts, Diouf
Backroom Tom Posted April 2, 2011 Backroom Posted April 2, 2011 No niko on the bench, there has to be more to this than football reasons now.
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Looks like Kalinic is finished at this club, not in the starting lineup or bench. Could be injured, but we haven't seen him start for weeks.
JMillZz Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Nobody who can score in our whole team. I hope Niko is injured or ill and not being forced out by that stupid f**k Kean!
Lathund Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 A real lack of creativity in that midfield. A positive take on it would be that the three central midfielders all cover a lot of ground, and are strong defensively. Which could allow Salgado and Olsson to be very attacking. Sadly I don't think it'll work out quite like that though.
Oklahoma Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 We will have a battling midfield with only Junior and Santa to attack. While I understand N'zonzi, and the 2 Jones, I don't think Emerton can offer us much now...
Grabbi Graeme Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Arsenal Line Up Alumunia,Sagna,Koscielny, Nasri, Van Persie, Wallcott, Song, Squillaci, Wilshire, Clichy,Arshavin. Subs Lehmann, Diarby, Fabregas, Rosicky, Eboue, Charmakh, Bendtner Scary Times
Lathund Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 For a while it looked like the other results today went our way, but WBA turned around and won, and Birmingham won as well, and both Wigan and Villa got a point. The only positive result for us was that Wolves lost. Arshavin *shudder* Personally it's van Persie I worry about. He must be averaging more than 1 goal/game against us...

chocky Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Look who's commentating..jesus they like to rub it in..
Rover & Out Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Can someone shed some light on the Kalinic situation?! Benjani, Santa Cruz and Diouf, all of whom are very unlikely to be here next season, are again preferred to him! I feel sorry for the guy, not sure what more he can do!
Commondore Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 I'm pretty sure Dunn will come on for Phil Jones some time during the game, and Emerton won't last 90 minutes either. Just a question of how many goals we have to pull back when it happens...
brfc4ever Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Benjani, Santa Cruz and Diouf, all of whom are very unlikely to be here next season, are again preferred to him! I feel sorry for the guy, not sure what more he can do! Agree 100% No clue why he's not playing or even on the bench
Bobby G Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Its a joke that Benjani is on the bench ahead of Niko. Formica here for sightseeing I gather?
Steve Moss Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Line up Robinson, Salgado,Samba,Nelsen,Olsson, Emerton,Nzonzi, J Jones, P Jones,Hoillet, Santa Cruz Subs Bunn, Dunn, Rochina, Benjani, Hanley, Roberts, Diouf Agree 100% No clue why he's not playing or even on the bench Because Kean is a poor manager?
Daremz Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 I don't dare to watch it. And with other results going against us (West Brom winning? WTF...) - we all will have a bad feeling at the end of the day. Same feeling that goes through our vains for weeks and weeks. And only way to stop it is to beat Brum next week, or we're done.
Hekla Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 I'm fearing the worst guys, not trying to be negative but I've had a bad day and a big defeat would leave me in bits.
Sysagent Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Scabby draw time I forecast for this one... Not going to be pretty but I reckon we might just luck a point. Cringers Fossed!
booth Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 No Kali, no Formica, no Pederson and they get all their heavy hitters back. Looks like Hoillett is going to play on his weaker side again too.

Benjani, Santa Cruz and Diouf, all of whom are very unlikely to be here next season, are again preferred to him! I feel sorry for the guy, not sure what more he can do! Surely Niko is injured, or there is some kind of internal conflict brewing. Keane might lack both nous and experience, but I'm sure he's able to read and count on a basic level.
