Blackburn Rovers have just had a shot on goal, that's a full 63 minutes better than against everton.

Progress.

Hopefully at some point we'll see a shot from open play!

Phil Jones is looking immense so far. We're looking much better now, City seem to have been shaken a bit by Jonesy's runs and a few crunchers from Salgado.

I don't care how much he earns. I don't care that he has no relegation release clauses in his contract. I want Phil Jones to play for us forever.

Easily looks the most committed player in each game at the minute.

Couple of points, rev please stop says the same as me at the same time twice in a row is creepy, lol.

Kean reads this board as our strikers role tonight is to run the channels between full back and center back. We've played this half well riding the storm and now playing some more and opening things up a bit more but we need to create something. And just as Iw rite this Benjani screws his header, perhap's a cheeky touch once he was air born?

In all honesty though I think we've opened up to early this half and city will come back into it now we've threatened like that.

PHIL JONES IS F.U.C.K.I.N.G AWSEOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another long ball diagonally to the full back and this time with Samba who narrowly missed.

We need to score someone step up please.

No complaints this half. We've had some good spells of play, just need to improve the end-product. City themselves haven't created much considering they've got ten trillion dollars of talent out there.

Very proud of the way we have battled, PJ is awesome. Benjani has looked good up front I would bring on Kalinic or Rochina for Roberts.

An interesting half. We started off dreadfully and could have been a goal down after a couple of minutes after absolutely suicical defending from our back line/midfield. City bossed us for the first twenty minutes, but after that we've really come into it. The boys have shown a lot of heart considering the ref is an utter joke. We should have had a pen, too.

Best players for me to far have been Phil Jones (by a mile, what a player this lad is going to become), Salgado (his experience shows) and Samba who has been his usual solid self. Robbo's been solid as well.

As for the others... most are doing OK. Dunny's been about the pitch more than usual. It isn't working at all for Olsson or Emerton, both of whom are struggling to find the right passes. Roberts has actually been okay, Benjani's not been terrible.

Going to be an extremely interesting second half. I'm nowhere near as pessimistic as I assumed I was going to be at this stage, we're still in it.

Right then people who wants to play a game?

Your the manager, so how would you approach the start of the next half?

As we did the first?

As we finished the first?

Some other way?

Who kick's off if it was me would dictate my start,

Us attack, them sit and see.
