Kelbo Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Well ,I for one will be there tomorrow protesting, never mind the positives, its Kean I am worried about and he is not a positive aspect of Blackburn Rovers Football Club!! If Venkys think that their sweet talk will win them over, I can tell you the only positive action to win fans over is to rid themselves of Kean!!

Ralfinho Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Ive just listened to that interview and some reason now my local curry place has rang to confirm my order
Ralfinho Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Ive bought tickets for me and a few tomorrow as close to the dug out as possible just incase I feel the need to voice anything, which at present I certainly do
Mc Love Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Kean has had more than enough time. Blaming our poor run of form on injuries is a joke. Come on Venkys - sort this before its too late
Gav Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 No they haven't, look at net spend. Nobodys talking about net spend. It surely isn’t hard to understand that Venkys didn’t have to release 2m for goodwillie, they could have pocketed that also, because they own the club, same with petrovic 2M, same with Vukcevic 2M, and we would have had to rely on free transfers. Yes we’re using money pulled in from transfers out, but they could have pocketed that also, so they are opening the pockets, even if its money recouped. Is that too difficult to understand, can I make it any clearer
brian_gallagher85 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 That interview just underlines how idiotic Venkys really are. The vast majority of the clubs fans want our so called manager replaced with an individual who is at least qualified to carry out the Job. The time for mass protest is near we need to embarrass them in the mainstream media through loud and lengthy protests at games. I also think the poznan would be a great symbolic gesture. I have had it with these idiots saying they will invest when the time is right, guess what genius the time to invest ib players and a proper manager is now.
Gav Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 They own the club, they have cut the squad and released/sold players. They are under no obligation to reinvest this money, let alone dig deeper into other funds. Eactly Mullionvagrant, why some are struggling with the concept is beyond me.
Mc Love Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 I cant listen to anymore of their complete bull-######! Same old story, remain patient (its like they really are the V's), back Steve Kean bla bla etc

PAFELL Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 fair enough.. PAFF and NONDA.. wasnt calling you out. Why the question
Majiball Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Fans need to turn up in numbers and voice their discontent over Kean, he is on the brink, just needs one final push, make no mistake, fan power this week has made them at least sit up and listen. Lets hope fan power comes to the fore tomorrow night, I'll be there screaming for him to be removed. Great Kelbo, how will you be protesting then? The same way as most will hopefully be doing, screaming for his head for most of the game.
glen9mullan Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 A bit off topic but i recieved this one today regarding Jack Walkers Anniversary Dear Glen I can assure you that Jack Walker wasn’t forgotten at Blackburn Rovers on the anniversary of his death. We arranged for a wreath to be laid at the statue early on Tuesday morning to mark the occasion which still remains in place at present. Later in the morning, a piece was included on the website and an article will also be included in the programme v Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow evening. I am sorry you feel let down by the club but can assure you that this was not the case. Yours sincerely Lynsey Talbot PA to Deputy Chief Executive

Mattyblue Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Nobodys talking about net spend. Is that too difficult to understand, can I make it any clearer They are not trousering ALL the money from the sale of an asset, but they are not putting in their own capital. The Trust stopped funding the club in 2006, yet a couple of years later we bought Kalinic for £6million, were The Trust 'spending money', no we were just spending money recouped from sales, I dont recall them being lauded for their largesse at the time. Venky's are running the club on similar lines to the Trust, ie putting in none of their own capital- what's wrong with that you ask? Nowt, but don't expect the side to improve with a negative net spend every summer.
Majiball Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Like mercerman then, should be interesting. Since you seem so Kean to extrapolate what everyone intends to do tomorrow, I'd like to ask what you would do?
Mercer Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Absolutely staggering when some on here don't think Venky's have any investment obligations. Clearly, this minority chose not to read the sale terms that have been shown on this MB many times. Carry on like this too much and a derby against Darwen @ The Anchor will become the 'big match' for the 'heads in sand' few.
True Blue & White Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Writing to Venky's complaining about Kean is a bit like writing to Victor Frankenstein to complain about his monster.
Gav Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 No they are not trousering money from the sale of an asset, they are not putting in their own capital. The Trust stopped funding the club in 2006, yet a couple of years later we bought Kalinic for £6million, were The Trust 'spending money', no we were just spending money recouped from sales, I dont recall them being lauded for their largesse at the time. Nobody mentioned their own capital, nobody is lauding anyone, but they could have 'trousered (good work matty ) the money' and they didn't, they reinvested some money into the team, a point that was being made on here and the glenmullen thread which was dismissed by the usual suspects. If people are going to hammer the manager and owners, surely its much better to have a balanced view of things, which is something that’s been lost on here in recent times. Kean out!
jim mk2 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Eactly Mullionvagrant, why some are struggling with the concept is beyond me. And why are you struggling with the concept that if the owners continue along such a path Rovers will not only be relegated but the club will sink down through the divisions and eventually cease to exist. Now if you don't understand this and why fans are upset at the way the owners are running OUR club (because without supporters there is no club) you are even more daft than you already appear.
Makey11 Posted August 23, 2011 Author Posted August 23, 2011 Dont give up!!! Keep bombarding all media with emails. That with huge banners and chants tomorow and he'll be gone
Majiball Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 God I hope something positive happens. We have to emphasise the need for an established manager, or things might just go from bad to worse. Thanks majiball lol. Quoting me made me go and fix obvious typos . No worries, if you want to thank me personally I'll be at the Match tomorrow.
Mercer Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Dont give up!!! Keep bombarding all media with emails. That with huge banners and chants tomorow and he'll be gone Makey - in% terms, how confident are you ?
m0r94n Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Re: Paul Hunt's reply. These injuries were known well in advance of the first game of the season. Why have we only waited until now to get the ball rolling in regards to signings? The excuses don't wash. If I was able to take time off work I would be up at Ewood tomorrow protesting, the clown needs to go.
Gav Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 And why are you struggling with the concept that if the owners continue along such a path Rovers will not only be relegated but the club will sink down through the divisions and eventually cease to exist. Now if you don't understand this and why fans are upset at the way the owners are running OUR club (because without supporters there is no club) you are even thicker and more stupid than you already appear. Your constant goading and stupid remarks are going to encourage the appropriate response if you keep it up. This latest little foot stamp has no relevance to protesting against the manager, its just your attempts at gaining time in the spotlight. Over the years you’ve shown that you’re nothing more than an attention seeking crank. First we had JIM – banned, then we had Doris?? – banned, then we had Jim mk11, who was recently shown to still be just another crank, with the John Williams cut and paste job by Tris. So I’d shut up if I was you, unless you’ve something interesting to say on protesting against the manager that is
