Exiled_Rover Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I think we've sorted our fullback problems out - Lowe and Henley are really impressing.

Sysagent Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Possession Stat:- 65% Man U 35% Rovers Getting to be the "norm" these days...
hesfromburn Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 why are man united playing so sluggish? also trying to protect their dodgy defence?
Andy3809 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I think we've sorted our fullback problems out - Lowe and Henley are really impressing. Henley is miles away mate. Bags of potential and will be ok in the championship but watch his positioning. Everything coming down that side
Stuart Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Possession Stat:- 65% Man U 35% Rovers Getting to be the "norm" these days... I expect that's a common stat away at OT! Play fair.
Sysagent Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Just noticed it being the same as when we where at Anfield, and Sunderland and... Etc, etc Jisty mate! ;-D
hesfromburn Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 excellany period for us there. playing well and keeping possession and an attack. we looking good for at least a draw here.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Henley is miles away mate. Bags of potential and will be ok in the championship but watch his positioning. Everything coming down that side Blame Pedersen for that. Henley has pace to burn - he's very difficult to get past. Formica, for all his detractors, works his socks off. Pedersen gets outrun by everyone.
hesfromburn Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 rochina defdinatly looks low on confidence. need to keep his composure. but at least he is passing and not trying to take on everyone....so far
Sysagent Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Need that half time whistle pretty damn sharpish, Man U have woken up a wee bit now...
Exiled_Rover Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Still think Bunn is a much better keeper than Robinson too.
Stuart Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 United seem to be going through the motions here. No way will RFW stand for that. Expect changes all round in the second half. Good save from Bunn. United's first shot on target in 44th minute says it all really.
Backroom DE. Posted December 31, 2011 Backroom Posted December 31, 2011 rochina defdinatly looks low on confidence. need to keep his composure. but at least he is passing and not trying to take on everyone....so far Reckon a few players have been having a pop at him for refusing to pass and losing the ball all the time... might have knocked his confidence a little. Looks more withdrawn but is losing the ball less.
T4E Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 The best thing we're doing is keeping the ball when we get it, making simple passes and not just hoofing it clear. That's vital if we want to keep the defence fresh enough to last the whole game. We've been excellent all things considered. Henley is like ###### off a shovel.
Andy3809 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Blame Pedersen for that. Henley has pace to burn - he's very difficult to get past. Formica, for all his detractors, works his socks off. Pedersen gets outrun by everyone. I agree peds is a real weakness at the moment and recovery pace is vital in a decent full back. It's just players that are not ready will cost you over a season.
AggyBlue Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 No way will RFW stand for that. Expect changes all round in the second half. I expect the hairdryer will be out at half time. Then I expect them to paste us in the second half.
Backroom DE. Posted December 31, 2011 Backroom Posted December 31, 2011 According to my mate it was 100/1 for us to be winning at HT and for United to win at FT...
Amo Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I agree peds is a real weakness at the moment and recovery pace is vital in a decent full back. It's just players that are not ready will cost you over a season. Wow. Pedersen in 'total passenger' shocker.
AggyBlue Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 We've been excellent all things considered. How's our closing down been?
Sysagent Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Very very strange first half... After I did the possession remark Rovers seemed to get a better grasp of the game, whereas Man U didn't start to make an effort until the 43rd minute. I expect the second half to be a whole different story and Manchester United coming at us like men possessed.
BuckyRover Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 According to my mate it was 100/1 for us to be winning at HT and for United to win at FT... Odd considering we are the team that has lost the most points from winning positions.
