'Cowards' is a very good description of Venky's because that is exactly what they are.

Gutless cowards,  hiding in India while they get others to take the flak for the destruction they've caused. An ignorant, arrogant disgrace to football. Just like the FA.

Henry Winter is a bloody good journalist.  He has consistently fought Rover's and the fans' corner.  He would be one of a very select few that I would rate up there with Peter White on that front.

Nick Harris sporting Intel especially in the early days certainly gives a dam, I was on the phone for an hour yesterday!

He been in our corner for 6 years or so.

Winter is the best sport journalist in the country but his comments/articles are not going force FA or EFL hand at all.

Henry Winter is a very good jouralist just like Oliver Kay has been.

We all know the owners are the problem but are untouchable over in India.

Nick Harris has been in the corner of Rovers fans for years..

We all remember the Kean and Wife article, Paul Hunt's articles, etc.

It must have escaped your notice that the plight of Rovers has been gaining increasing force and exposure in all forms of mass media and that this is continuing post relegation. The hope of Dunnfc and others including me is that this is sustained.

(Momentum definition: force or speed of movement; impetus, as of a physical object or course of events)

We all owe a debt of gratitude to Winter and all the other journalists in various media who continue to fight for us and other distressed Clubs and do not throw the towel in just because, in our case, it has no effect in Pune.

Shaun Harvey: I had best not start on about this TwoHat. Despicable individual.

Don't pontificate.... by expressing the above as fact.

There are fans working exceptionally hard behind the scenes whilst your watching the club die. The articles have to come from some where and some sources and I had the pleasure to speak to Nick yesterday and another journalist trying to still piece things together but also gleam there experiences of other situations for the eventual forward planning. More so his sporting intelligence website is an excellent tool and more people should probably take a look at it.

No rules broken by EFL but there is by the FA and EPL and Jerome. This is outlined in my letter/report to the FA what went across three weeks ago to David Newton and Martin Glenn, frustrated yesterday by no reply I emailed it to Shaun Harvey and he got back to me within minutes confirming he'd received it and will review and get back to me on it. We will push for a meeting as it's as much about what has gone on but also the financial side and planning for the future in the event when disaster strikes.

Exactly this

Message getting out there slowly to other fans too winning more support form elsewhere than our own fans in some instances.

Everybody needs to be fighting for the same cause. I'm not blaming anyone just pointing out the facts.

I was making the point that supporters claiming other supporters are 'watching the club die' is hardly conducive to getting supporters to 'fight the same cause'.

So sit down Birchy lad and wind yer neck in.

No you're not. You're claiming paying supporters are 'watching the club die'. Have a word with yourself.

Just be aware that Shaun Harvey sees himself as CEO of the Premier League and dreams of being on EUFA council, he's a football politician. Look at his stance on the checkatrade trophy to see which side of his bread is buttered. Commendable work getting a reply from him but don't expect anything from him other than platitudes.

I've been following his career path and you have him correctly read. At the moment he's into making at least the Championship into PL2 and hellbent on marketing the EFL into the international media. Not a bad thing if you are in the EFL elite!

What momentum Chaddy?! Coverage on Football Focus,606, every national newspaper I've read highlighting our plight and the idiocy of our owners, many footballers saying the same thing, fans on social media expressing their sympathy (apart from Burnley of course).

We have had more publicity this last few days than in the last 6 years and it really is important to keep that momentum going. Everyone can help by writing to the football authorities to express their outrage, to MPs, to the Council to protect Rovers assets, to newspapers, phone-ins and on social media.

This is the only way our relegation will not have been in vain. And who knows, it could help persuade Venkys it's not worth the hassle?

You could help yoo Chaddy lif you believed in anything other than sitting in your seat for 90 minutes a fortnight while chanting that nothing can affect Venkys.

Actually he doesn't refer to supporters in general at all, his remarks are specifically aimed at Chaddy.. You specialise in misrepresenting others so I agree with Dave Birch---wind your neck in. An absolutely over the top response to a very reasonable point, something else that's in your nasty DNA.

Which is true for those not doing anything is it not?

Some will be helping by paying on the gate/ST's to keep the club afloat, because there'll be no money coming from the pluckers.  I'd hope those people don't come on here and claim the boycotters are 'watching the club die' by not supporting the club financially because they'd just be as ignorant as you're being now. Just concentrate on your own stuff and stop judging others. When it comes to the crunch there will be a lot more people who come out and help than you'd imagine. Best not to ostracise them just because they won't march down the street or boycott the club.

Hold on a sec these people six months ago negated that it was a paltry sum missing now it's vital monies which the club need?

who mentioned marching or boycotting?

Dear lord, taking lectures from you on 'nasty' is hilarious. You really have no self-awareness. It's very cute.

As for your point (I think there was one amongst the insults) telling any supporter they are 'watching the club die' is nonsense. And it was a general point as Dunn FC has just tried to justify it and claim that to be the case. It's there in black and white. Always happy to help as you always 'misinterpret' things. Your misreading of Mowbrays remarks on starting the season on levels points the other day being a case in point. Think before you fly off the handle would be my adviceB)

It's more vital now that the club's income has just been reduced by £5m, and the TV money etc of £1m won't even cover Danny Grhams wage..

So how are people 'watching the club die'? What should they be doing instead?
