Not exactly a cd, but still fantastic, I got the new Pearl Jam DVD today, Live In The Garden, oh how great it is, every fan should own this.

It's taking me a bit to get used to Eddie with short hair though, doesn't look right.

Tis indeeed quality CR.

By all accounts if you play the DVD on Windows Media Player you will find a couple of hidden tracks one of which is Hunger Strike. Must admit I haven't tried it myself yet.

Not to obscure, eh Tucker?

Currently listening to popular rock group Ash. Their Intergalactic Sonic 7's CD. Picked it up for £6.99 from HMV. You could do a lot worse you know.

Ash are great, been a fan since 1977, will have to get a new copy of Intergaltic Sonic 7's though, mine had some wierd liquid poured on it, never played the same again.

Anyone else like the Libertines?

What a Waster, Time for Heroes and Don't look back into the sun are three of my favourite singles of recent years.

Also looking forward tot the new Coral 'album'

Radiohead and Oasis are still high up on the list and the Strokes latest album has grown on me somewhat.

The album I am on playing the most though at the moment is Exile on Main Street by the Stones probably one of my favourite of all time, just behind Ok Computer.

What a Waster, Time for Heroes and Don't look back into the sun are three of my favourite singles of recent years.

The Libertines are great, but you have to wonder how long the band will go on with no Pete Doherty, I think he's made his own band (also called The Libertines?) so there's going to be some confusion.

Hopefully they'll kiss and make up (not literally, although from what I've heard highly possible) because they make some great music.

They kissed and made up as soon as Pete got out of prison in November.

Went to see them at the Forum in London just before christmas the gig was good, but to top it all of I got backstage and met all the band and strokes producer Gordon Raphael.

Also am enjoying listening to DJ Shadow!!!

Any other Drum & Bass / Breakbeat fans???

DJ Shadow is pure class, "Number Song" and "Building Steam With A Grain Of Salt" from Endtroducing / "Blood On The Motorway" and "You Can't Go Home Again" from The Private Press being personal faves. If you are into d & b you should check out Photek, the early stuff is very minimalist but Solaris is more expansive.

Yeah, Shadow is class!!! The 6 day war is a particular favourite of mine, there is also a Bad Company jungle remix of it which is pretty good too!!!

I've been listening to Photek for a few years, it's the kind of stuff you can sit and chill too, saw him at a rave in Manchester in August and his set was really good!!!

Sitting and chilling is pretty much my limit these days, so listening to a lot more relaxed stuff than I used to. Pre-Emptive Strike is pretty good too, if only for all 4 parts of What does your soul look like.

Then you must download the 'Cops 'n' Robbers remix' of 'Stem.' He samples Heat. It is soaring stuff.

I like the breakbeat stuff turned out by labels like Kniteforce . The Luna-C recent album was tops. More Hardcore rave than D'n'B methinks.

No I haven't heard any, I'll download some later!!!

I always like acquiring new music!!! Especially chilled stuff, most of the music I have is pretty hectic, and extra chilldness to my collection can only be a good thing!!!  :cool:

If you are after some more chilled stuff, one cd which rarely leaves my discman at the moment is Rounds by Four Tet (Pause is excellant too). It's been out a while but hasn't got anywhere near the recognition it deserves. Other than that, you can't go wrong with anything by Thievery Corperation.
