The answer would simply be 'no' because they aren't a brand in the United Kingdom.

Disagree - the UK and its financial centre is international. Global investors are in the UK.

I don't think they are looking for any.

No doubt when someone finally gets hold of the stooges and can ask them a question about this Macron debacle (next fans forum meeting, whenever that might be) we will get a cagey answer and then they'll hide behind 'legal reasons'.

Eventually they will paint it as the club wanting to explore alternatives, get a better deal elsewhere for the club and fans, get a better range/design and try and sell more gear.

But we know that isn't the ambition here. We are in a race to the bottom.

Example - I wanted to buy a winter trench coat for the cold weather. None to be had in the shop. We aren't doing them. Nor rain coats. Infact aside from the kits themselves all we are selling of Macrons is a tracksuit bottoms/top and shirt.

An extremely limited range. Even Ismael and the coaching staff are wearing coats from previous seasons.

So I suspect we are already at the bottom end of what Macron are supplying and have no intention of obtaining a better or more comprehensive range or supplier.

Cheap and basic will be the way of it. Some catalogue generic rubbish from Nike or Umbro with no thought going into it.

When I met with Fraser Reed about kit planning in April 2024 I showed him the Sampdoria section of the Macron website & I said “Do all this stuff…in Rovers colours….”

It’s not quite as impressive this season as it was then but still is way beyond what we have ever stocked…

The next Forum is on Monday 9th February and this is on the agenda.

why have they never launched a UK brand would be another good question…

It was meant to be happening in the early days, wasn't it? Venky's Xprs or something. But as far as I know it never materalised.

I just hope the minutes that come from the next meeting actually reflect what was said/happened rather than the last couple, and god knows how many before that.

Let's be honest, you could put a bunch of dingles in charge and they'd struggle to do as bad a job. In fact they probably wouldn't have the brass neck to do some of the things this lot have done.

Stadium is looking shabby - shall we repair it? "Nah"

Shall we get rid of Sky in the Supporters Bar? "Yeah go on, but only tell them after we've sold memberships"

What about adidas next season for the kits? The fans would love that! "No, the fans would love that."

The pitch is liable to flood if we don't do something. Shall we? "No, can't be arsed".

Add your own.

I've had this thought plenty of times.

If they were intentionally trying to sabotage the club and make the fans suffer, I'm genuinely not sure what else they could realistically do.

Almost every step has been either criminally incompetent or downright malicious.

A lot of large projects got binned after Rovers got relegated which to me is no coincidence.

I'd wager a lot of the money they committed to propping up the mess they'd made was earmarked for those projects with the club and Prem brand being the chief promotional tool.

That's why they turned up here and it could've worked to everybody's advantage had they not been in bed with who they were. So when people say it hasn't cost them anything they are wide of the mark.

Their massive expansion plans were well and truly ruined along with our status as a club.

There’s not a cat in hell’s chance they’ll discuss this with legal action ongoing…

Oh I know Herbie, but we can't not ask a question.
