I admire it to be fair… all without media training too. glad you need accept the EFL and sky reason for postponed the announcement for 24 hours due to the tragic death of Jota. Glad you seen sense and understanding of the situation. 1 hour ago, GHD said: Chaddy The death of Jota and his brother at such a young age was a tragedy, that is beyond question. It is unimaginable how their mother must be feeling right now. However, there are on average five to six road deaths, and many more life changing injuries, on UK roads alone every single day. The fact is, these deaths have no impact whatsoever on any aspect of everyday life, except for the family and friends of those involved. different issue but one that has range of different factors which I will post in the correct thread cos this isn't it. But I think it would be inappropriate for EFL and Sky to announced the TV games just after the tragic death of Jota. The EFL clubs decided this as I posted a link from the Stoke Sentinel journalist 56 minutes ago, wilsdenrover said: I like how you’re being accused of a lack of compassion by the same person who thinks Newcastle’s owners should only be judged on their running of the club. Of course Newcastle owners should be judged on their ownership of running of Newcastle just like every owner of a football club? should it be different and what are terms of refence to that Edited July 6 by chaddyrovers Quote

Mattyblue Posted July 6 Posted July 6 (edited) No I left it there as you are unable to give your own explanation (as you don’t have one). So no point flogging a dead horse. A 🦜 of authority lines, like you have been since the day you joined. Edited July 6 by Mattyblue Quote

Cos I thought the answer was obviously cos he was footballer who was international and PL player. I haven't said it should be different to other non footballers deaths but the EFL and Sky were right not to announced the TV fixtures. Any death by RTA/RTC is a tragic one for any person/family/friends. Edited July 6 by chaddyrovers Quote

Mattyblue Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Of course, Sky want to fill their schedule and sell subscriptions. The clubs took the cash without giving fans a second thought. It’s on them. Edited 10 hours ago by Mattyblue Quote
