I think the point is that there isn't any value to telling people that we may or may not sign a guy. Who cares? We haven't learnt anything. I could have told you that.

You can't have it every way!

Folk moaning that all seemingly quiet on the transfer front.  Isn't a purpose of a MB to share information etc with like minded fans across the MB community?

If I get the impression that the likes of you and @roversfan99are  NOT in a minority of folk disliking these types of post then I will simply stop posting.

Do whatever you want, I couldn't care less. All I'm saying is that it's not information worth reading if I don't learn anything.

You know something, cool. Good for you.

Dont worry we will be "attacking" the transfer window.

“ Defenders are coming” used to be our war cry. Now it’s “Attackers are imminent”

Desperate form and horrific injury crisis, relegation looming, and Rudy's "exciting plan" is two signings, one of whom is a loan we have to play even if he is crap.

Jorgenson seems a decent prospect (by our standards at least), he made more runs in the channel in his 30 minutes against Ipswich than the rest of the team combined over the season (only a slight exaggeration sadly) and has some pace which is good. Might be more a wide-forward than a central striker but could mesh well with Ohashi (similar) and Gudjohnson central.

Cashin had a horrible debut, no question, and while he may be talented and just need nurturing, the signing is unbelievably stupid. We are forced to play him ahead of Pratt who is younger, faster, taller, and on the basis of season so far a better CB, and most important actually our player. The signing is actively detrimental, thanks Rudy.

I said at the start of the window we didn't need a CB, for all our lack of goals our defence has been ok, and Carter is about to be back giving us McLoughlan, Miller, Carter, Pratt, Atcheson, Litherland which is not ideal but manageable. A replacement for Hyam, who we should never have sold, was only CB I would have been interested in, and Cashin is the exact opposite of that; short and slow, not tall and injury proof.

Offloading Gueye was good, but why do we still have Ribeiro and Pickering who Ismael refuses to play? Why not offload them and bring in an actual Wing-Back while Hedges is crippled, and before he leaves on a free when he gets better (shades of Weimann?), because De Neve is the worst positional player I have ever seen in both attack and defense. I said in the match thread god only knows why Kortrijk kept him and loaned out Alebiosu.

CM remains an issue as well, Tronstad has checked out and we refuse to resign him, again god knows why (oh wait yeah our ridiculous self-imposed wage cap; thanks our Billionaire owners), TGH and Forshaw are not good enough and neither should have been signed. Baradji has talent but missed half the season and looks better further forward than CM proper. Henriksson has been another awful Gestede signing, a shame that one as he seemed a decent prospect when we signed him in summer.

Then again, I keep forgetting we support a club run for Suhail's bonus not success on the field...

We will likely sent Pratt out on loan to stager experience in league 1…where he’ll start for us in the fall

Understand Rovers would like to snare (on loan) a forward from a leading PL club (already made 1st team debut).  He's only young but an amazing talent who would get the fans out of their seats.  The lad's in a different league to anything we have (including Tyjon) and it would be a real coup if we managed to get him (if PL club let him out on loan there will be others also in for him)

Right so there about 0% chance we get him. Don’t doubt the rumor just the reasoning that hed end up here

Watching James Hill and Van Hecke shaking hands. Remembering happier times when we were a proving ground for exceptional talent.

Cashin isn’t going to replace Van Hecke and Dunk. He shouldn’t have replaced Pratt.

An 18 year old scores an overhead kick for Brighton.
If you are good enough you are old enough.

Happier times is when we would send our young players out on loan to lower league clubs like Brighton and Bournemouth.

‘Happier times’ when Van Hecke was here and the owners declined to go for promotion despite being up the top at Christmas.

’Happier times’ when Hill was here and JDT would rather walk out on his contract than stay a minute longer.

What's with the crappy attitude dude? Guys just shared something as a heads up. Stop being a wetwipe because he's not told you every detail.

If its true great, if not then ... then its not. Nothing happens.

I think it's fair to say if we already are asking for this lad, others are too. I hate to say it, but there isn't really any reason Rovers would be at the top of an exciting young PL talents list. Surely they would be much happier starting for a team without the behind the scenes circus.

Will prem clubs really care about the behind the scenes chaos?

Both Manchester United and Manchester City have sent promising young players to Sheffield Wednesday.

It depends on who the plsyer is and what other clubs we would be competing with. It may be a young player from one of the North West clubs who would rather the player was loaned to a club close to home

Abso bloomin ‘ lutely

Really irks me more than anything when small minded Rovers fans see clubs like them (and Brentford etc) as “above our level” and say we can’t compete with them.

They’re not and we can

What they are though are well managed clubs with good owners and executives with ambition, confidence and drive and nous.

Burnley have shown what is possible. Has to be said but Rovers need to be run on the Burnley model.
