He needs asking next time a microphone is plonked under his arrogant hooter WHY did you really sell Harry Leonard only to then run around desperately looking for something with less potential.

Don’t think Cadamarteri has ‘less’ potential

the issue is we need something for ‘now’ and Cadamarteri for me doesn’t fit the bill

in an idea world given his age and not needing registered we get him and another 9 but that’s beyond realistic with this lot

If there are other teams in for Cadamarteri then I can't see him ending up at Rovers. Millwall supposedly have had a bid rejected now, so wouldn't be surprised if they go back in with another if that was their first bid.

We might end up with less than him though.

All we are doing is hoping to exploit Sheffield Wednesday's financial situation and tempt them to sell Cadamerteri to us on the cheap. Some might call that good business (if it works) but I don't see a plan or a prioritisation of results, league position, urgent issues. All I see is them hoping to pick up a player on the relative cheap who they see an opportunity to polish up and sell on for a profit.

That isn't the business we should be in. Our Championship status is slipping through our fingers and they are still mucking around with the 'project' to make profits and presumably percentages.

I fully agree. They seem almost overly confident that we will surivive once we get some more bodies back. There have been some better teams than this one that have suffered relegation before.

Who's to say we won't suffer another injury crisis? It happens every season...

Can't even sign a player from a cash-strapped club in administration, heading into League One.

Absolute state of this club.

Millwall have also had a bid rejected it seems more a case of sheff wed valuing him higher than most others do which is fair enough in their position

Let's be honest Wednesday are going to try to get as much as possible for whoever right now (obviously that goes without saying when selling players) but even more so now than ever for them

You log on everyday just for another small bit of hope to die when absolutely no news on incomings is apparent...

Oh for a modern trio of Mimms, Dobson and Livingstone to get us over the line...

Jackson reckons the focus now is on Cadamarteri. What a shocking window yet again!!

If Millwall are also in for him, it's a no brainer for the lad. He won't come here to get relegated for less money.

I suspect we don't but we'd better have some alternatives lined up.

From targeting a player who their club value at £5m to one who will likely cost around the £1m mark. Life under Venky's, Pasha and Rudy.

As I say, I'm convinced they're just shrugging their shoulders at this stage with life in League One looming.

Think I said it the other day the only small positive is this really shows how far out of his depth Rudy is - promised the world and delivered on nothing

I think he knows it too, didn't re reply directly to someone on Linkedin calling for him to step down?

If you don't feel the pressure you don't reply to that, you just shrug and laugh!

On the other hand, highly doubt he has any internal pressure from the top.

Yes that’s the issue they aren’t demanding or caring what actually happens

but again any crap attention for Rudy I’m taking that as a win as he’s too arrogant to someone who has zero clue what he’s doing

I have a real fear that Jorgenson and Cashin will be our only transactions.

With players coming back from injury I bet they are hoping to

A. Save money on this window

B. Limp over the line with players returning

Or

SpEsHuL oPsHuN nUMbeR 3

Pat themselves on the back for a league one season next season.

Predictably Brian de Keersmaecker has had a good season at Oxford, seems important to them and is already being linked away for profit.

Meanwhile we need to buy Tavares, Henrikksson and De Neve replacements and can't move them on anywhere.

As I said in summer, buy cheap buy twice. Or in the case of our summer scouting, buy cheap buy 6 times which is what it will ultimately need to be.

Along with a Tronstad replacement...

Sack Rudy Gestede and Ismael now!

But..... the bigger turnover of cheap players the more commission the tinpot middlemen make.
