I think Adam shouldn't and can't be compared to any other English player, simply because he doesn't play like a typical Englishman. I believe he's the only player that's been produced in this country since Scholes that plays like a typical Spanish or old school Italian player. I'd build the England team around him. An extremely important player with unique qualities that we haven't had for a long long time.

So many awful performances here. Weimann is only starting because he's capable of popping up with a goal. Misses the best chance of the game and otherwise offers nothing. Hedges, Dolan, Pears also absolutely dreadful. Don't waste time and get Kargbo, Dennis and Buckley on at half time. Awful.

Really annoying performance this so far but it's mainly down to the side picked. Get Hedges, Weimann and Forshaw all off the pitch. All past it. Wiemann should be an impact sub. Need to win the midfield battle but won't happen with Forshaw and Hedges, they're chasing shadows.
