We're 2 CBs down on last season (Downing and Rodwell), surely we HAVE to sign at least 1 new CB.

The frustrating thing is that last January if we’d gone out and loaned a CB and LB we might have pushed for playoffs. How much would that have cost? There’s something wrong with the way the club plan transfer strategy and seal deals. That’s not necessarily Mowbrays fault.

I think that's the sort of signing we needed given the amount of goals leaked late in games. The worry is that he becomes one of Mowbray's undroppables and is shoehorned into the team ahead of specialists (like Bennett).
