  1. The turd was a piece of piss to take over. We always used to take the entire town when we played each other regularly. Now Burnden was a different beast altogether in my lifetime. Although my dad tells me we used to take the Lever End with ease in the 60s when all the greebos/bikers latched on to Rovers and there were some hard bastards who frightened the shit out of you???
  2. I remember going on the football special for the Faz game in 73 with my dad. My only fond memory of that shit hole. Sure there was 33000 on that night. Next visit in 76 resulted in me having 12 stitches in my head after being ambushed by a mob by the steps outside the railway end. Saved by a bloke in his 20s/30s from Bolton who then proceeded to give the ringleader a good smack!
  3. I agree with you there re starting 11 but be could have had a couple of the u23s on the bench tbf
  4. Which bloody way do you want it? At 1.55pm today your reply to my post that none of the u23s were involved today was " Shocking if true". Now you're asking "those fans" who wanted their involvement to hold their hands up!
  5. They went on sale as soon as relegation confirmed with the new pricing structure. Early bird ends mid May. Oh for that foresight at Ewood. We live in no hope!
  6. No. It means that once 12k have been sold everyone gets the discount and then same again for 13k and then 14k. Puts it in the hands of the supporters
  7. Ipswich have it right. 12.5% reduction following relegation. In addition if they shift 12000 then they are reduced by a further 12.5%. 13000 = 15% reduction and 14000 = 20% reduction. Innovative thinking!
  8. Absolutely spot on. I don't think Simon Garner or Alan Shearer were coached finishers. That is a knack they were fortunate enough to be born with.
  9. Ooh er Mrs you don't know how to quote a social media post correctly. Well fuck my owd boots. Being able to do that and being as boring as claretboy333 is the future ( or the past as he doesn't know the difference) apparently.
  10. Oh do keep up claretboy. Are you actually as thick as you post or are you trying miserably to be a comedian?
  11. No. if you have been taught how to read it states as he was walking to the match which usually implies pre kick off time. As you are unable to comprehend English properly I will make allowances for you.
  12. That was before the match if you can read. I was talking about after the match as alluded to in the previous post. Heavy handbags is probably your sport of choice
  13. It was a bit of handbags at 10 paces tbh. We were a group of about 13 ( mostly in our 50s) waiting for our minibus. However we had one lad with us pissed as a fart goading everyone and everything Preston. One Nobber took exception and they squared up to each other (finished up like the lion from wizard of oz. Both saying put em up, put em up). We just laughed as did most Nobbers as the fuzz were filming everything
  14. That looks weak tbf. How the hell is Conway worth a start over Rothwell?
  15. Ha ha yes I think you are right! Think Ray was disgusted that a team supposedly fighting for survival never had an "offensive' attempt over 90 minutes
  16. Nah our last 2 away games were against Spuds where we infamously had no attempts at goal despite that tunt saying "Wor stats were good" and then Chelsea away after Wigan sent us down. Seem to remember beating West Brom when Kalinic scored 2 then got sent off and never featured again? May be wrong on that one
  17. Ha ha. That's exactly why they were called gobbiners. The mill workers considered the miners uncouth and uneducated
  18. If you were born higher up ossy than the lamp outside the library you were a gobbiner. Mainly coal miners. Bottom ossy was cotton
  19. A manc is a citizen of manchester and Lancastrian. I am from Ossy so am a gobbiner and Lancastrian. Bolton folk are not mancs - they are Boltonians and Lancastrian. By your deluded logic Blackburn is not in Lancashire
  20. Sorry pal but you're wrong again as usual. But hey ho nothing new. FACT
