Enabled by a CEO with the emotional investment of a lobotomised snail. -

I'm pretty sure Bowyer never had us in the play off positions at any stage. Always just threatening to creep in but never did, which is criminal when you consider the players we had. -

In that case, you'd imagine a decent midfielder and a striker would have got us at least one extra win. And for that reason I blame the shambles of a CEO and his minions over the manager over the tippy tappy stuff. On occasion we do go more direct, and we still miss, we continue to miss, then we bring on some subs, and they miss. We've seen it all before. With all of his faults we'd have still made the play offs or challenged for the automatics had he been backed. -

I'd be very surprised if he stays as I believe next season will be much more difficult in terms of recruitment and also players outgoing. -

I pretty much said it in an earlier post. Don't be surprised if we separate the wheat from the chaff and keep the chaff. -

Because they will appoint a bottom of the barrel yes man next. -

Not enough goals from any of those players. It happened last year under a different manager. The only constant has been the dickheads in the boardroom. You look at the other teams around us and they all have players that can get you three points when you aren't at your best. The only one we have capable of that has been holidaying in Villareal since December. -

I will if I say what I really feel about Waggott. -

He's talking about the striker he was told he was getting in January. -

I've said it since January, what's the point in bringing in an ambitious manager than not even bringing in a centre forward?! Especially as they knew the taps would be turned off next season. Waggott is definitely cementing his place alongside the likes of Kean, Anderson, Shaw and Agnew for most hated Rovers employees. -

I'm livid at the moment so I'll say no more or I'll end up getting sued. -

I've just been told that Tomasson was on Sky talking about his lack of goalscorers again. If so good on him for passing the buck, Waggott and co deserve their day in the spotlight. -

It's going to be a shocker next season if what I believe is going to happen happens. -

We're seeing years of neglect finally coming to a head with Venkys thinking they can penny pinch by relying on the academy and keeping Mowbray on way beyond his sell by date. Tomasson will leave and it's going to get worse next season, with another yes man installed. We'll sell our best youngsters and keep the dross. -

How do you win games of football Jim? What's the ultimate decider? -

Travis not good enough. Dolan not good enough. Hedges not good enough. Recruitment not good enough. Brereton... From zero to hero to zero. Imagine if that absolute bastard Mowbray who starved us of centre forwards gets in the play offs. Then it really would be a disappointing end to the season. -

Short memory. With Mowbray it was self inflicted, he wanted to play without centre forwards. With Tomasson he wanted a centre forward in January and didn't get one. Waggott should resign now. -

It was over when the dickheads in the office were sleepwalking through the January transfer window. Heads must roll if we miss out on the play offs by such a small amount of points where a midfielder and striker would have made a massive difference. -
I think Chaddy just likes to argue for the sake of it. He's seeing a team scoring goals live then just moments later saying they aren't all that.
-
Brereton has had 0 goals in 7. Like I said, that's the difference. We're having to rely on other players than our top scorer. Millwall also have Flemming. I'm not saying Millwall are ideal, I'm saying that currently they have better goalscorers than what we have, which is a statistical fact.
-
There's the difference, our league rivals hitting the net when we're misfiring. Boro - Akpom Millwall - Bradshaw Coventry - Gyokeres Luton - Morris & Adebayo It was obvious in January!
-
There's more than those two isn't there? Or have they been banned? Whatever happened to Zak Dingle?
-
Undav and O'Brien would have been the difference. O'Brien signing should have happened and we should have had back up plans for Undav.

I think the animosity came from Shearer being best mates with Newell. I'd see Newell driving Shearer to Ewood every home game so they must have been good friends as well as team mates. Then Sutton comes along, takes Shearer's place as the most expensive footballer in the country, wants his golden boot and takes his best mates place in the team. It's great that they were professional enough to still do the business on the pitch.

I think they have, this is just a bit of an interview with Sutton, Shearer and Dalglish. There used to be the full version on YouTube but I can't find it.
