12th. I think we'll have a very up and down season and I've no faith that the club will strengthen much in January. We've enough quality to finish mid table and perhaps more importantly, the quality of other teams this season isn't great. Watford and Norwich tonight for example.

The left side is a target for every oppo manager. He's nowhere near good enough for a promotion chasing team. If we want another mid table finish then he's fine. Gallagher has always been awful but usually this season he's been better than nothing, and in a handful of games he's looked decent. Last night we were playing with 10 before we were playing with 10.

If we had more depth Pickering and Gallagher would be nowhere near the first team after that last game.

A must win for me considering the opposition. We don't win this and Tomasson will be on thin ice. Some of the players need to bear some of the blame too. I think you are missing his biggest error. Not signing a good striker permanently. Could be the difference between play offs and mid table. I know last season was ultimately forgettable but haven’t we learned our lesson?

The simple thing would be to bring in a midfielder, a striker and a left back. Club takes a hit on spending due to the league position and having a paper thin squad. If possible offload a couple of players and get rid of the useless loanees to offset the cost.
