  1. They were knackered from playing Blackpool and 3 defenders out didn't help.
  2. Has there been an update on injuries yet?
  3. Guys, calm down, we all know he'll **** it up and that big juggernaut is going to end up absolutely flattening him in spectacular fashion. He will always be a lazy two hat who believes he's some kind of savant, and has one too many brandies at Christmas and doesn't recover till August.
  4. Yep, should be Travis and Wharton. Dack behind Hirst.
  5. Distracted, yes, entertained, sometimes, but I can't give Rovers any credit for keeping me sane. Quite the opposite.
  6. Or cancel the games and get the squad fit so we don't drop any more points.
  7. No chance of the play offs this year, imo. Squad not only threadbare but unbalanced. Not enough goals in the team. Be delighted to be proved wrong.
  8. I was just pointing out that JDT has said he needs more experience in the team, so I imagine will have asked for it.
  9. A bit unfair on Adam Wharton that, I think he showed good physicality in the first 1 and a half games he played, but looked knackered in the last game. He's had a week to recover so hopefully the first two games he played in are the true indicator of how he is. I'm not saying I'd definitely stick him straight back into the team but against Blackpool he was covering both flanks, the middle, putting in decent passes and getting forward. A Wharton and Travis may be a good pairing.
  10. He mentioned needing more experience in an interview when Hyam was signed.
  11. Can Mola play right back? Is Dan Pike anywhere near ready?
  12. What is actually wrong with Brittain?
  13. He must be frustrated with the injuries so early in the season combined with not being able to bring in another player. I feel pretty down about it. We've shown good attacking play at times but some of the players looked knackered on Saturday. If we hadn't had those injuries we'd be doing better, even if we weren't actually playing better. The injuries to key players is really hurting us.
  14. Will Wharton, Brittain or Smodics be back?
  15. Waggot's job should have been on the backs of everyone during the transfer window to make sure JDT had enough in the squad to get us through to January without failing badly. If we do then Waggot's position needs be under scrutiny. It won't be but it should be.
  16. Maybe but I don't get that JDT doesn't care. Mowbray seemed happy to plod along and shrug. JDT seems to genuinely want to better the club.
  17. Another transfer window where our deficiencies were not fully dealt with, and there's appears to be a complete apathy towards it in the boardroom.
  18. Bottom half if we have to keep making do with a makeshift defence.
  19. I don't think we've any hope till Wharton and Brittain are back, whenever that will be. I think Wharton is back soon, hopefully against Wigan, but last I read there's no timescale given on Brittain's recovery.
  20. Philips and Carter would have still struggled. Travis would have been better in the middle yes but we've three top centre halves in this league out. Find me a team in any league that wouldn't concede goals if they lost three of their first team defenders and had Pickering at fullback. The one thing I'd question is why isn't Pike featuring when we're struggling for a fullback, is he on loan? And why the **** didn't we get a replacement for Pickering who has been targetted by every oppo manager who we've played against.
  21. It does but it's driven by necessity not design isn't it?
  22. Injuries to three first team defenders too. There’s no way we aren’t conceding goals weekly with that back line. But the club should still have invested more in the team given how many players had left. The squad was short of goals last season, and a good left back.
