  1. It's even more depressing when it's put into words. 3 goals, ffs TM.
  2. Spending £5m for him is still costing us. If we'd picked him up for £300k he'd probably have been moved on by now. As it is, he's a Venky investment that has to pay off at some point whether it's good for the club or not.
  3. Hedges isn't a striker he's a winger. That said I'm not saying he won't score, it's just a poor do that we may have to rely on someone who isn't actually a striker when we're already struggling to score.
  4. We do. Shame Tony didn't show some foresight in Jan.
  5. I think if one thing is guaranteed, Vale is just a bench warmer for this one.
  6. Millwall look ragged but are probably confident that there's little chance we'll score. Why we gave Gallagher a new contract I don't know. If only we had someone decent up front I'd be still believing we could go up automatically.
  7. And a decent striker would have been sliding in on that just in case it didn't go in.
  8. Of course not, but we shouldn’t even be in this position all things considered. They should take the blame for a lot of things but the transfer window was a lifeline and as it stands TM didn’t exactly grab it with both hands. It was more like he held his hand out, looked at Brereton’s name on the team sheet then retracted his hand, smiled to himself and said, “Nah.”
  9. I'm still seething about it, I was fully expecting 3 points. Now who bloody knows?
  10. The thing I'm wondering is who will score the bleeding goals to get those 7 points? We're desperate for someone to step up and be a hero.
  11. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19898505.tony-mowbray-explains-blackburn-rovers-didnt-sign-striker/ Given TM's previous - his bizarre decisions and history here as well as other clubs, I'll take those comments as his own.
  12. He should have brought in a forward in January. I think even his biggest apologist recognises that. And I don’t buy that he couldn’t because he literally said he could.
  13. Not going up vs going down. What would be the biggest loss in income? Not being snarky, I genuinely don’t know.
  14. Anyone else laughing at Bournemouth? Bought almost every player in the league and couldn't beat Preston, Parker sent off for having a tant 🤣
  15. What we do in our final games will decide whether we make the play offs. I've no doubt that the teams around us will drop points but we need to be on top form from here till the end of the season. With no one to score goals or at least keep the opposition busy I think we're going to struggle to win even our "easy" games.
  16. Is it the owners or Mowbray Gav? Seemed to be he had the opportunity from what he said.
  17. And TM had a whole month long transfer window to fix that big glaring problem.
  18. Let's not forget, Mitrovic and Wilson were both dirty diving bastards. And that pound shop Robbie Savage they have was a dirty sod too.
  19. The frustration with Mowbray is how he initially set the team up. Although unspectacular, we didn't give them as much joy in the second half. Can we speculate that had TM got it right first half there'd have been more chance of a draw?
  20. Whilst I agree I'd be disappointed if we had a team who resorted to that level of cheating.
  21. Disappointing performance from team and manager, but if we don't make the play offs it's not because of this defeat. It's all the no shows against the minnows.
  22. Fulham, dirtier than Luton? It's more annoying as they have better players but are still resorting to diving and fouling.
  23. More like, his touch was poor so he was forced to have a shot before the keeper got it.
  24. Refs giving them free kicks for absolutely fuck all now. That's it ref, take the sting out of the game for them.
  25. How is that a free kick for the keeper?
