I've just watched the whole game on Rovers TV. I can't get to Ewood these days due to circumstances beyond my control. I must eat humble pie. Dolan, whom I've slagged off many times, had a very good game and is improving. He must keep his place. The whole game was enjoyable. I didn't see the tippy tappy football of last season (when our boys were learning their trade under JDT). This was a good game to watch. We play well. And so do Cardiff who seem to be getting it together under this new manager. Normally I'm quite pessimistic about Rovers but now I think we really are going in the right direction. It's still work in progress but we're getting there. -

Captain Hyam (or Travis?) should be marshalling the troops. -

I think Harry Leonard will make a good striker. From what I've seen of him he impresses me far more than Butterworth or Vale ever did. Give him more game time and he'll get better. -

Depends when you were born and when you watched football as a youngster. Back in my day No6 was Left Half e.g. Mick McGrath. No5, the centre half, had dropped back in line with the full backs. But yes, when 4-4-2 was the line up it was usually 5 and 6 as centre backs. -
His first managerial appointment. I wish him all the best. Judging by his history he seems to be one of the few footballers that actual love the game be it playing or (and now) managing.

If Dolan can keep on improving his final ball, i.e. when to pass, when to shoot and not be too greedy he'll be ok.

I watched the whole match on Rovers TV yesterday. I didn't think QPR were as bad as some make out. We were better of course. Leo has to stay in goal. I like the back four. Brittain can become a right winger for me.(Don't know the modern terminology for it). Markanday must keep his place. Must keep the same team selection for the next game. The older chap in that video was the video maker's dad. Also, his uncle, a Wolves supporter, has recently died aged 62.

No. He's saying to his mate," I bet in 94 years time they won't even open the Blackburn End for a cup-tie. Some guy called Maggot will be running the club." -
Siggy again

When he was with us he had three others in his team, two plus Neddy Wesky He seems not to be able to do it without them.

Bloody Hell, Jim. So it's all your fault. Every away game you go to, we lose. Please stop going. -

Last few games shows that the manager (head coach) has lost it. Let's hope he can give his head a wobble and change things. If he continues like this we are going down. Can't keep blaming the thin squad. We have some good young players. It needs a manager with a bit of (Warnock, Allardyce ) nouse. JDT needs to learn quickly and be brave enough to change his strategy. -

I wonder if JDT really IS trying to get himself sacked. -

Perhaps Proctor said don't sign him. He's not fit. And got overruled by Pune/Swag/ etc. -

How young you are. In my day I hid behind the sofa during "The Quatermass Experiment". 😱 -
I see Buckley is on the bench.

I go back to my initial take on VAR. It should be one man at a screen on the ground in communication with the referee. If there has been a blatant mistake by the ref, VAR man tells him . Ref makes final decision. No-one needs to know, read or hear this conversation. Simple!
