  1. Right! I shall try the lot (heads) from left to right (of the viewer of course):- Chris Sulley, Rudy Gestede, John Byrom, Chris Samba, Gordon Taylor, Swag, Paul Round, Rick Parry, Colin Hendry, no idea, Marlon Broomes, Tony Parkes, Kevin Gallacher, Malcolm Darling, Stuart Ripley, Bryan Douglas.
  2. Ah! Chris Sulley is my Duncan Mackenzie. Of course, DM has grey hair now. Still don't know the two to Swag's left. Can anyone give the names of all from left to right?
  3. Who is behind Parkes? And who is Swag shaking hands with and the guy on his (not Swag's) left?
  4. Duncan Mackenzie, John Byrom?, Stuart Ripley?
  5. Do you mind? We're not all tarred with the same brush. However, I have noticed over the years that quite a lot of Rovers fans seem to have to have someone to pick on. Jason Lowe, Keith Andrews, Elliot Bennett to name but three. There always has to be one.
  6. I've tried the JW stand twice this season. Steps are so steep. Next time I'm back to the good old (dilapidated) Riverside.
  7. Can you imagine bringing on Jordan Rhodes for his debut for us in similar circumstances to today? We'd all be saying," This new lad is far too slow. He'll never score many goals for us".
  8. Good players don't necessarily make good managers. On the other hand you don't have to have been a good player to be a great manager e.g. Alex Ferguson and Roy Hodgson. Pears has become invisible. Has someone air-brushed him out?
  9. Thanks for that info., Wikirenrag. 😃 I'm sure others are grateful for that information as well.
  10. Why are Everton, Villa and Stoke not in there? Does the 5000 not include any Premier League games? Silly statistic if so.
  11. On the contrary every Rovers fan should go to Ewood and try to force their way into the BBE. If there are enough the crowd will spill over onto the main roads and stop the traffic. I wish. SOMETHING has got to be done about Swag and these stupid owners.
  12. I have a concern about the title of this topic. If you call yourselves Argyle, at least have the courtesy to call us Rovers. It's either Plymouth v Blackburn or Plymouth Argyle v Blackburn Rovers or Argyle v Rovers.
  13. Glad you were with him at the time. I wasn't with my dad when he died and I've regretted it ever since. When my mum passed away someone said to me, "There's a time for living and a time for dying". that consoled me at the time. We all have to go sooner or later. Take care, Roverandout.
  14. Beat me to it, Gregg. I was going to say," So that means he'll play 6 months and score many goals and spend 3 and a half years in The Vince Grella Hospital we have at Brockhall training ground".
  15. If each parent speaks a different language, I can never understand why each doesn't speak to their child in that language from birth. My granddaughter in Barcelona speaks three languages fluently. She speaks English with no hint of a Spanish accent. Her school teaches her in Catalan whilst mum and dad communicate to each other in Spanish. Dad speaks to her in English and Mum speaks to her in Catalan. There is a girl at her school whose father is English. She knows very little of the language because he has never spoken to her in it.
  16. When discussing Rovers' fixtures the Rovers score should always come first. I cannot understand the modern way of always giving the home side score first. Those scores should read:- Chelsea 1-6 WBA 3-3 Leicester 4-1 Tottenham 0-4 If you look at programmes of the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s you'll see that in Rovers' fixtures the Rovers' score comes first regardless of home or away. Only in the national fixtures does the home team score come first. E.g. In the papers last Saturday the score was Plymouth v Blackburn 3-0. But in the Rovers fixture list it should read Plymouth Argyle (A) 0-3 Not getting at you, TheRovers1994 but I just had to have another rant about something that bugs me. Like us still playing in blue and white halves and not the traditional quarters....that's another rant for another day.
