Just watched the RW highlights and i have to say we had some good chances. They had alot more though. MGP and Benni put the ball into the side netting when they should have at least worked the keeper and i won't even start on Nonda's walk after the through ball or inability to beat carson from 2 yards out. The wall was awful but i think that may be because of the subs not being used to the set up. Intersting that (i think lucas) almost got all the way across to clear the ball but yet the wall blocked brad's view and not the goal. Very annoying but bring on newcastle.

Premiership Football is the be all and end all for a club like ours. Uefa cup is a nice distraction but at the end of the day who wants to play hull and plymouth? That doesn't even start to take account of the financial problems and player issues.

Rovers Defence can never manage to stay alert for the entire game, they seem to drop into comas for at least 2 set plays a game Been saying this for years, rovers get a good corner taker and then a few months later he can't get the ball off the ground. . With the amount of ball that we get, we should create so many chances yet time after time it seems we get the ball to either wing and thats it. The ball never gets into the danger area or if it does then benni and nonda are off trying to get knock downs at the edge of the area or trying to get offside. The offsides post bellers are pathetic, it doesn't take alot of effort to keep up with play! I haven't seen the goal yet, but even if he let it go through his legs i would forgive for the "at least 6" fantastic saves he made tonight. Friedel is world class and without him i don't think we would be in the premiership.

We need a goal, they are getting chances and should be putting them away. A goal would hit them right between the legs and take the wind out of their sails. Nonda or Benni need to step up to the ball and give us a goal!

I don't think clubs do take the p out of reading and their attendances. On an interesting note, Record Rovers Attendance: 61783 Record Reading Attendance: 33042 We had a lower attendance than usual on saturday because Fulham brought 1 coach load of fans. Equally look at other north west teams and they are struggling to get fans in. A high of 27k this season and an average around 18-19k, compared to Readings at around 24k. Which considering we finished 6th last season isn't great but it will take time and cheaper tickets/better offers to get people back.
