  1. Bloody hell we will get hammered, with their 20 outfield players v our 10
  2. Rich Sharpe: TM: “I’ve told the players that’s the worst I’ve seen since I’ve arrived. It’s unacceptable. It takes a lot for me to get angry with them but I don’t know where it came from. I apologise to the fans who travelled tonight.” Blackburn Rovers‏Verified account @Rovers 7m7 minutes ago More Reaction from Tony Mowbray: “That’s the worst performance I’ve seen since I walked through the door and I have to apologise to our fans. We have to be better than that, and we are better than that. We need to get back to basics.”
  3. I bet @tonyoz is waking up in this part of the world, thinking thank god I wont have to do the player assesment for another game as bad as Preston Double vegimite on toast mate and a slab of VB, will help you through the Wigan game
  4. Get in, own goal 2-1 The great JD stadium heist is underway
  5. Bloody hell, Villa two goals in a couple of minutes to make it 5-4
  6. First half terrible, second half bit better until the penalty. Currently hanging out for full floodlight failure who will be Man of the Match
  7. Since the Message board change, so far P2 W0 D0 L2 F1 A6 , just saying
  8. Anybody else think Armstrong's upper body strength is not as a good as Brereton FFS Wigan penalty,
  9. Tonight is the night Brereton is deemed ready to add to his 50 +championship games, couple of goals for him incoming
  10. Yeah watching it on ifollow, at least those watching on the sky red button thing can switch to the Villa v Forest game for a bit of excitement, only alternative here is Derby and Stoke on TV
  11. Rich Sharpe‏ @richsharpe89 9m9 minutes ago More Since the opening day, #Rovers have failed to score in the first half of 12 of their next 18 matches. No shot on target in the opening 45 minutes here.
  12. and has already played in over 50 Championship matches in the previous one and a half seasons
  13. So you are saying that the loan deal was arranged before the full deal? It would be rushed if Forest did not want him to come here on loan and it was announced only two* days before the loan window closed Edit - three days
  14. Because the permanent deal was too late to get through before the deadline? Would he have got much game time at Forest knowing that he would be leaving 1st Jan (although it is debatable on his previous one and half seasons in the first team squad there he might have got a bit more than he is currently) and an injury could scupper the whole deal. The reason I am leaning to the loan deal being heavily weighted in Forests favour financially, is it was a rushed deal to get him here so Mowbray could work with him , when the transfer deal could not happen in time. We don't know how the move to sign him went down, maybe Mowbray thought that getting him here to work on aspects of his game that he thinks are lacking for a few months before he officially becomes our player is worth it
  15. Can't understand the reluctance to play Brereton , strange that his upper body strength was ok last season to participate in 30 odd of Notts Forests League games in a league we are currently in. Of that I make it he played the full 90 minutes in 12 games, and a further 10 taking part in 60 minutes +. https://www.transfermarkt.com/ben-brereton/leistungsdaten/spieler/426192/plus/0?saison=2017 Stats for second half of 2016/17 season, of Championship games available for, took part in 18 out of 22 https://www.transfermarkt.com/ben-brereton/leistungsdaten/spieler/426192/plus/0?saison=2016 I do wonder in the rush to get the deal over the line , if the loan part of it could be heavily weighted in favour of Notts Forest financially
  16. With a clause in the contract :Remember who pays your wages , do not expend too much energy in International games
  17. Don't think this strange fad of playing forwards up front will catch on though, far too exciting
  18. Bet he would change his mind if it was , An evening of tactics and tagliatella, hosted by Tony Mowbrinio with pasta by Pasha Hosted in Gli Azzurri Bar 10 quid a ticket (13 on door) (You can have that idea for free Mr Waggot)
