  1. He has been training with them since late August, watched an interview with him the other week and he seems very grounded . Knows that chances of getting a contract with them are not high but giving it his best shot. Also interviewed the CCM coach who basically said if he doesnt come up to scratch won't get a contract. Both seemed fairly happy with the situation and how its going. A league starts next week so be interesting to see if they sign him on considering there is only limited spots for Marquee and overseas players in A League Teams. Mike Phelan former Man U is their new Football Director so he is the one who is apparently overseeing Bolts trial with the club
  2. Sky Sports United owner pushing for Premier League 2 https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/10/11/championship-threat-leeds-united-owner-calls-premier-league/

  4. I doubt any amount of funding would have prevented the Man Utd circle jerk once they announced they were forming a team. Remember integrity is a foreign word to the guardians of the game
  5. Oh yeah I know that, I was thinking more of the price range equivalent in 1992, which Duncan Shearers fee fitted.
  6. More like 3.5 million in inflation terms, Even taking into account the current silly money world of football you would be looking at least 800k- 1 million equivalent in 1992, so a Duncan Shearer . Fingers crossed this one works out a bit better
  7. Every one of those in the queue that you saw were paying for tickets ? not just picking them up? Some sections of the ground could be designated reserved seating (season tickets)and some sections unreserved. Granted some people would have to be moved and be upset but that does not seem to be a concern of the club currently . This system is used at Perth Glory in a tiered membership (season tickets) system, Gold membership gets you a seat reserved for the season in certain sections of the ground. Silver membership means you can sit anywhere in the Silver sections of the ground. Flexi membership (5 game deal) and Match to match tickets also go into the silver sections (unreserved seating). Seems to work ok as similar to Rovers actually filling the stadium to capacity rarely happens, only difference is there is no need to hand a quarter of the stadium over to away supporters. 8. Bolton news match report LINK "the game turning into a team who couldn’t attack with purpose against a side who plain wouldn’t."
  9. There have been kidnappings associated to lottery winners , none in the UK í think, but definitely in the USA and Australia Some of the worst cases of the fall of lottery winners in the US LINK Kidnap and murder case of lottery winners son in Australia in the sixties Link
  10. If it was two of those playing today against Sky Sports United, they did look decent
  11. A bloke was leaving early to go to work and got some abuse for leaving early, it escalated quickly (those involved mentioned it on twitter)
  12. They have no need to worry he will probably walk out of the interview at half time in disgust at the treatment of Bruce
  13. Leeds twitter account announcing they have now sold out their extra allocation.
  14. The season subscription still works out good value even with midweek and televised , even at lets say at most ,half the games fall into televised and midweek, the remaining at overseas match day pass prices at the equivalent of 5 GBP a game = 130 GBP, a full season subscription is the equivalent of 110 GBP. Not checked but I would hazzard a guess at most only a third of games would fall into that category, with only eight scheduled mid week rounds in the championship Obviously it was better value last season when the chances of games being televised in L1 was slim Do you have access to red button midweek games in Malta? Edit : Maths - 23 games x 5 GBP = 115
  15. Don't think it is us looking very poor, more that Sheffield looking decent and we are combating them
  16. Also no commentary on the listen only option, just the repeated thanks for subscribing to blah blahh....... Edit. Now just crowd noise on the video Edit 2: now commentary as well
  17. Villa could be a good get out option for Brendan Rodgers
