  1. Keep hold of it for a short while. SteB's running the previews and is away at the moment. I suspect he'll ask you to post it onto this forum, a few days prior.
  2. Well I've got to say that I'm not in any frame of mind to let our best contributors go. We're trying to build something here at BRFC[s.com]. It's been the way in the past, To talk this site down, trying to cover up on underachievement.
  3. Many thanks Bob. Glad to hear everyone enjoyed it. I hope we get more next season, your columns are a breath of fresh air and give the site a bit of - sometimes - much needed stress relief. Thanks for taking the time Bob, it's much appreciated.
  4. Yes it's the Millennium stadium. It's right in the middle of Cardiff.
  5. Waggy, if I were you, I would be worried - VERY worried.
  6. If Walcott was regarded as the best prospect in English football and played for rovers reserves, would he be going to the world cup?
  7. FA to investigate spitting claim. David Sommeil being accused of spitting at Tugay.
  8. Excellent report Blueblood. City WERE shocking and that was pretty much their strongest side. I went on a City supporters coach and I can't quite work out whether they realise how much trouble they're in. A big close season for City, they need to arrest the slide. Only two teams have picked up less points this year - West Brom and Sunderland. By all accounts, they have no money to spend. As for rovers, they won at ease with a side devoid of Nelsen, Todd, Pedersen, Bellamy, Reid and Pongo. Having said all that, the thing that I liked most, was that after quite a few seasons, at the final whistle, at the final game, the crowd were buzzing. It's a long time since that happened and is a great reflection of the positive messages sent out from Ewood. From JW, MH and everyone at the club. Well done everybody!
  9. Under McLaren, 'Boro have been for years the most boring, negative team in the Prem. One forward, pack the midfield and hope to catch teams on the break - and this at home games - and after spending £54m. The ONLY reason for appointing him, is the lack of anyone else competing for the post.
  10. Dillo - how about some pictures from your home town? That would be really interesting.
  11. Reid it and weep Jose! Daily Mirror. "Chelsea boss Mourinho - who called Rovers a "pub team" after a bruising encounter at Ewood Park last season - later grumbled about the nature of the victory, complaining that his side should have been awarded at least three penalties. As usual his mean-spirited message was wide of the mark."
  12. Fabulous - and the last small town, big club to do that was?
  13. Just for bragging rights - how many times have rovers qualified for Europe? 4 or 5 maybe?
  14. Sven: Rooney has more than one broken bone and it would take a miracle for him to play any part.
  15. He'll be freezing in New Zealand. It's winter isn't it?
  16. Nelsen has a hairline fracture of the Fibia [or Tibia, not sure which. Anyway, one of the leg bones.]
  17. Alex Ferguson says he doubts Rooney will play any part in the world cup.
  18. He pulled out of the running after 20 reporters camped outside his house over night. He said he didn't need those pressures.
  19. I thought Stiles was trying to enter into dialogue with all the players. Unfortunately, when they said something they didn't like, he seemed to take a personal objection to them, and booked 'em.
  20. Resigns from end of the season. England job?
