  1. League table before todays results. Accy lost and Hereford drew. 1 Accrington Stanley.....P36..........pts81 2 Hereford.....................P35..........pts67 Teams play 42 games.
  2. Currently 3-2 down, at home to Grays. They couldn't be doing a devon Loch, could they?
  3. Portsmouth winning 3-1 at Fulham. If it stays that way, then Brum will be next to the bottom.
  4. 1] Because people have to work there and should be protected from Cancer. 2] Freedom of choice to be able to drink without being forced to smoke. 3] That wouldn't bother you, would it Phil?
  5. Watched him play for Wrexham against Swansea and he looked poor.
  6. 7995 to be exact. Leppings lane stand
  7. I think there were 7000 rovers fans. Free travel and the number sticks in my mind.
  8. Yeah, and if they had turned up, played and lost - they would have stayed up.
  9. Suppose we should support the English side, but there again I can't stand the Smoggies, so sod 'em. It all started when they didn't turn up at Ewood.
  10. Another great laugh Bob. It's appreciated Thanks.
  11. The average take for a seat at Ewood, is £13. Your maths are a little wayward Krislu.
  12. Well done Colin, brilliant preview.
  13. There will be something trialled soon as a result of the discussions between club and BRISA. It's in another BRISA members domain, so it's for them to inform people of developments.
  14. They shouldn't need any freedom for the hand ball decisions. Stick to the rules, in this case a simple rule, or be inconsistent.
  15. That's a good find Philipl. So really, the only time a hand ball should warrant a card, is if it is preventing a goalscoring opportunity. Proof that Sav was very badly treated?
  16. That can't be right Philipl. Otherwise why wasn't Drogba booked for the hand ball that saw his recent goal disallowed? What I want to know is, what are the refs told?
  17. Incidentally, O'Brien of Bolton has just raised his hand above his head to knock the ball away, in his own area. The ref gave the penalty, but no card whatsoever. Sorry for going on, but it still annoys me, the sheer inconsistency of referees. It shouldn't be difficult to sort out - is hand ball a definate card? They don't blummin know the answers themselves. Numpties.
  18. BRISA minutes on unreserved seating: . Unreserved Seating Q: Can area of the ground be used for regular unreserved seating? Some fans feel the Family stand should be relocated to the Riverside, make the upper tier unreserved seats allowing casual fans to sit in the most vocal area of the ground. Could such an area also be accessed via a cash turnstile? In the old Nuttall Street Stand reserved season tickets seats had a white painted backrest. Surely a method of identifying unreserved seats could be found for the modern day Ewood Park? A: While this point was not specifically discussed it is clear the club would consider an area of unreserved seating. Such arrangements would be related to improving match day atmosphere. BRISA gained the impression a serious discussion on this issue along with other atmosphere ideas would be carefully listened to.
  19. Guys, join BRISA and have your say there. The club are very helpful, it just doesn't show on that snippett. BRISA can go back to the club on any issue and fully intends to.
  20. From BRISA minutes of meeting with the club: Q: Cash Turnstiles Many supporters would still like to pay cash on the gate. Given there could be difficulties with seating would the club consider this? At WBA this weekend despite all fans having numbered tickets supporters where told to sit wherever they wished – it seems unreserved seating is still used in the Premier league. A: The ticket office is the cash turnstile. There are a number of objections to having specific turnstiles where one simply hands over cash for entry: Lost data Security issues Seating issues Capacity problems Club image – PL or conference?
  21. "We've got a lot of great people at this club, a lot of fantastic supporters and I want to send them all home with a smile on their face."" Looking at the mackems during the game, they certainly weren't smiling. Weren't they demonstrating after the game, about not being able to demonstrate against the board? Happy indeed! When has anyone seen a happy mackem?
  22. 1] well that would have been the harshest penalty ever, there's no way Lucas intended to touch that ball with his hand 2] That's not luck, that's good goalkeeping 3] Exactly. Some people suggest that Sunderland were the better side, that's way off the mark. Sunderland huffed and puffed second half and created absolutely nothing. As Hughes said, rovers were always in charge of the game. Rovers didn't play well second half, but they are, and were yesterday, a far superior team to Sunderland.
  23. Which were the lucky bits. The best team won - again.
  24. C'mon guys, it's boring everyone. Keep things civil. Next thing we know the mods will get PM's complaining about other members behaviour. EDIT: would you believe one of the mods just got one.
