  1. He would have had more of a chance of playing Centre mid again, if he had showed even the slightest idea of what playing that position involves. I'll stick my neck out here - He'll NEVER make a central midfield player.
  2. The Villa game should have put this idea to bed.
  3. This is a m/b run by, and for, the fans of Blackburn rovers. Anyone who is interested enough to post, is more than welcome as long as they abide by the posting guidelines. That is the only restriction. Never been any different, has it?
  4. He's errrrr, a bit slow. As was highlighted on MOTD lately. In fact he was that slow, Lineker couldn't hide how "unusually" slow he was.
  5. Sure did Waggy, sure did.
  6. Next weekend spurs are away to Chelsea, while we play Villa at Ewood. The gap could be back to three points. I would imagine our remaining fixtures are easier, on paper than Spurs.
  7. It doesn't give anyone pleasure Jim. You know though, that was an excellent performance. One of the best in recent years.
  8. Calm down boys, Jim's on a windup.
  9. To make matters even worse, sky have just shown a handball by a spurs defender in the box, second half. Everyone agreed it was a nailed on penalty. Decisions cost us today.
  10. Fabulous performance from the boys. A proper football team. Rovers fans should all be proud.
  11. No, but someone inside the club might. Let's not forget that it's the trust making the decisions now, not Jack. If the deed contains absolute specifics about exactly what jack wanted, then fair enough, but I doubt that. The trustees run rovers and they will do whatever is the best for ALL of Jack's businesses, not just one of them. I stand by what I said - the last thing the trust needs is a football club draining money from the trust.
  12. Don't discount the possibility of the club being up for sale. The rovers need new investment and while that doesn't mean there is a scramble to get rid, let's not kid ourselves, the last thing the Jersey trust wants is to bail out a struggling premiership club year in, year out. I've said before, that if the right investors were to approach the club, the JT would sell.
  13. The best atmosphere I ever experienced, up until VE day that was. Mike Hickman got two, I think. What happened to him?
  14. An American Arsenal fans' guess at the remaining fixtures.
  15. Poll, on whether Dunny will stay at Brum. I voted no.
  16. The old gate debate is an excellent debate. Hopefully, it will remain an open debate without people taking entrenched positions simply because of personalities.
  17. "Dillo"
  18. I think it's "miss" Dillo, Ozz.
  19. Peter certainly has a chance of making a prem player, but no more than that at the moment. He will have learned more from the Arsenal game than from all his appearances put together. As long as he's humble enough to accept advice from the coaches and work on that, he'll become a better player.
  20. Dunns form in the prem for us, was never that good. Anyone remember - he was used on the left wing mainly. He wasn't consistent enough to hold down a central mid position.
  21. Of course it's the same. It affects the away support at Ewood and everywhere. Dodgy TV costs all clubs money, for every game televised, home or away.
  22. One season wonder? He won the last two player of the year awards. This season he's been excellent again. Glad Hughes agrees with me and not you.
  23. "Not Good Enough To Be Capt And In The Team" Another man of the match performance from Andy Todd.
  24. Bellamy here for the long haul. No release clause
  25. Don't think JW is epecting to have a squad on small wages, just the opposite from what I've heard. He realises that you must have quality players to stay in the prem. He's also said that you only ever get one cheap contract for any player.
