  1. You should post more often Bob. Be careful you don't get banned though.
  2. The fact that it's new years eve will temper demand a little. A lot of people will be going out early that night, and wont be able to make it.
  3. On the flip side EIT, Charlton used to have great support. Better than rovers ever had. Averaged 40000 one season and have a record attendance of 75000. Take a look at the crowd here
  4. Can't get one for him Ozz. He'll have to do an overnighter on Thursday.
  5. A mate [lapsed st holder] who I travelled with for many years, but hasn't put foot on Ewood for 2 years, has just rung and asked me to get him two tickets. Huge demand.
  6. Since when did the Eagle and Child have a footy team? Bat Daft.
  7. The standard of youth team football, especially at Ewood is far better under the academy system, than it ever was previously. That's true of youth football at all clubs I think. I've watched rovers youth for quite a few years now, not as much as some people admittedly, but the academy teams have always tried to play it to feet when I've watched them. There are some physical sides around in that league, but rovers have never been one of them.
  8. The point with youngsters, is that they sometimes excell against other, not so big players, simply because of their size. When others catch up with them physically, then unless they are something special, they don't come through.
  9. You're right. I should have posted the link - sorry Lee. Academy results and league tables. [
  10. The academy team lost 1-6 at home to Man City on Saturday. No longer top of the league. 11. Free pies.
  12. Maybe not as bad as reported?
  13. No there isn't.
  14. Mum! Drop him because the ball hit his hand?
  15. For the handball? Hmm, must be, because he could have dropped Todd for the Everton game but didn't. It has to be because Todd handled the ball.
  16. Nelsen and Khizanishvili have done well together. But why all the flak towards Todd who has been excellent for quite a while now?
  17. Do you want to expand on the "poor season" quote? Oh - and list the continuation of silly mistakes that you would drop him for. Sorry Krislu, I think Todd has played as well as anyone else when he's been picked. I've got to ask, would he be getting this stick if he hadn't been sent off for a very dubious hand ball and rovers had gone on to beat Everton? I don't think so. Another overreaction.
  18. Yes it's his second red card. One was for hand ball you want him dropped for that? "Todd is a typical old fasion English centre half, no brains, no pace, no skill with the ball, just playes on his physique.." You must be out of touch. He's been rovers best player for the last two years.
  19. The results were no better last season, in fact they were worse and so was his disciplinary record. Todd's to blame for the results and more - more what? He still won the player of the year twice - it's the same guy you know.
  20. What a load of fickle "fans" you lot are. Player of the season for the last two years and because of one instance on Saturday where the ball brushed his hand [intentional or not, we don't know], you're all asking for him to dropped. God help us.
  21. Results have been pretty good with Savage in the side - until today.
