Do me a favour Abbs, - not on here pleeeease.

Shearer and Sutton apparently didn't get on. Maybe we should have told Sutton that he was affecting "trust", kicked him out and forgot about winning the league?
-
Pietersen has been such a bad influence that he's only made 104 test appearances. "Only 104". And during much of that time the England team morale looked to be far higher than it is now. For me, this whole "trust" argument doesn't work. It's a cover up. England's results and performances over the years are down to the individual talent on offer, they're nothing to do with how KPs behaviour has affected anything. And if his behaviour hasn't affected results, then what's the problem? Are we to drop anyone because they're not popular, or are a bit of an absolute idiot every now and again? What matters most - winning by any means, or everyone getting on nicely? One things for absolute certain, Our opponents gain far more from us not playing him, than we do. Still, chin up, winning doesn't mean everything old chaps. Turning up and playing the game is paramount it seems.

So why have Wigan lost so many good players CLB? Are all the British clubs losing them to the Southern Hemisphere sides, or is it just Wigan that have lost them?
-
Impressive. Looks good for the future.
-
Why are Wigan playing so many youngsters Clare - injuries, or has the squad been weakened recently?
-
Went to look for Fargo on catch up and it's all there except for episode 1! Great eh?

Seen the red wedding yet K-Hod?

Boredom of the scrums? They are fierce affairs that have a major impact on the game. Shouldn't "boredom of the scrums" be directed at the farce of the league scrum?
-
But it's a far bigger game?
-
I'm far from an expert when it comes to Rugby, but league bores the pants off me most of the time. 5 tackles then kick and hope for the best isn't it? Repeat ad finitum.

52 - that's so sad. It's very difficult to put in words, especially on a football forum, how I - and doubtless everyone else - feel for you guys and Your family. I wish you well for the future.

I think they were in a negative light well before Glen posted last night Rev.

Not sure this pitch is easy to bat on as some critics are saying. Plenty of pace and bounce, with a bit of swing. There's something in it for the bowlers all the time. The first session is massively important for England. After that, with a softer ball England can make progress assuming they haven't lost more than a couple of wickets.

The authorities should bow their heads in shame with what happened today. Did it not enter their thick skulls that this was absolutely bound to happen- and will do again unless they change that ridiculous rule.

Got my ticket for the first day of the Ashes test at Old Trafford, looking forward to that immensely. It would be nice to put rovers to the back of my mind over the summer Jim, but somehow, I just know the circus will continue unabated. Why do the Venky's torture us so much? Why can't they just treat us fans, the club and it's employees with a little love and affection? Lol.

I wasn't expecting that. That was the best performance from a rovers side that I've seen for a long, long time. Maybe we're not at the "champaigne football" stage yet, but the application from every player deserves applause. Kane was excellent, as we're Dann, and Williamson. Williamson was the difference between winning or not winning tonight. I thought Jones did an excellent job as well, playing for the most part out of position. Rhodes did exceptionally well also - running himself into the ground. He was out on his feet during the last few minutes. He'll, even Olssen caused them problems. As for Givet, what can you say? The man is sheer class and the question has to be asked. How could Rovers afford to leave him out of their side all season? Another legacy of the rat that is Steve Kean. To think that some of our fans back managers when they start to criticise a players "attitude"! Put the "attitude" to one side and if they're good enough, get 'em on the park. For the first time we didn't sit back on the edge of the area and concede possession, we came out to battle in the middle of the park and won that battle. Just like good teams do. Went home having, for the first time in a long time, actually having enjoyed a Rovers performance.
