The worst squad of the last 4 seasons? I'm not sure about that tbh. We have the best defence and Buckley has started playing a bit. Rothwell in decent form. Brereton and Gallagher scoring. Strength in depth unknown to questionable, but on our day I think we have 11-13 good enough to get top 6. Under Mowbray though with his strange calls and inability to see out games unless we score 3 or get lucky the opposition, probably 12-14th. Then again the league is the worst I recall ,so we could finish top 8. It's gonna be a tight final table

I read some comments from Farke the Norwich manager when asked why Gilmour wasn't playing. He said they aren't there to develop other teams players. Fair play to him. The whole thing about Mowbray building Butterworth up, only to pbring Poveda or Khadra on instead does stink. Butterworth could get injured at training before he even gets a game. He came on in one game I recall and he looked really good. Very direct.

Is it true we couldn't spend money because of ffp? Even if it is, we should have signed someone else on loan when Maja fell through. We had known for months Armstrong was leaving. Imagine the difference a goal scoring centre forward would make. To leave it to the last second and then play poor us isn't really acceptable in my view Plus if it is true we couldn't spend cos of ffp, what was all the Obefemi stuff about?

Ita great that Brereton and Gallagher are scoring , but we should have signed a centre forward. I know you said we should have too, but imagine how many goals we would be scoring if we did sign a decent CF.. Dolan is decent and works hard ,but if even £5 million of the Armstrong money was invested well, we could have a serious attack. It just shows poor organisation behind the scenes at the club. The much discussed European scouting network should surely have identified a player for £2-5 million we could have signed. It's either the money isn't available or complete disorganision behind the scenes

Hopefully, but I wouldn't say it's guaranteed in anyway that we will spend money. Particularly where it's needed, but who will the manager be? That's the 64 million dollar question

I dunno if it's not good enough, Its not far off top 6 anyway, due to the poor standard of the league this year.

Its paper thin, but we have been pretty lucky with injuries and the league looks really poor this season, with a lot of bad teams. We have one of the top scorers and a manager who has had 5 years to find a way for us to win enough games. All set up in our favour.

Watched the highlights. Shocking defending for their first, Ayala looked at fault. Then th second you could see we were a bag of nerves. We love conceding long range goals. Rothwell looked really good for the 2 goals. Pity he can't do that game in, game out.

He's 27 and has played for Oxford and us. His goals and assists stats speak for themselves,let alone what we can see. Ya, he has talent, but he is extremely inconsistent. Hence why Rangers are linked with him and not a top club ,or anywhere near it.

Mowbray has a serious knack for unsettling the team with his substitutions more often than not
