He did not say Bauer wants £40-50,000 per week. This is another one of these scenarios where someone posts something on here that isn't accurate, then it's picked up by others and starts becoming the actual narrative He may have said something about wages, but he did not say that a centre half from league 1 is demanding/expecting £50,000 per week.

Ok, well firstly its an opinion piece in the LT, not actual comments from anyone at the club. Secondly, as JH points out, players wanting more than they are worth, even if that is within our budget, is them pricing themselves out of a move. Look at Man u for an extreme example of where paying players more than they are worth can lead too.

I could see them going down the promoting from internally route. It will be a huge blow to them whenever Pep leaves. Gas to think that the season before the oil boys bought them, we finished ahead of them in the league. As did Portsmouth.
