  1. He means making transfers at any time of the season I think
  2. Bell hasn't been much better and I certainly wouldn't trust him centre back. Bennett is bad enough right back, never mind left back. I would also add Smallwood for some added bite, but him and Evans are much for muchness ------------ Raya -----Naymbe----Rodwell-----Mulgrew Reed--------Travis------Smallwood------Bell -------------------------Dack --------------Graham---Armstrong
  3. Ya, I was in similar circles myself in my 20s. The depression/lows in the days after a party are very real. Definitely dangerous for those who suffer from low moods anyway. On Flint though, I thought he was clean for many years. I suppose with suicide, people never really know the full story.
  4. I wouldn't say he had popped many pills recently
  5. I am sure he had a great time popping them
  6. Not sure how you are linking his suicide to how he lived in the 1990s. Didn't he live on a farm for the last decade or so? Iconic character. Saw them live 3 times, never disappointed
  7. With the players apparently having finished up for the season, lets get the ball rolling with this. For me it has to be Graham. In a season of disappointments with players who I expected so much more from(Lenihan, Nyambe , Brereton, Rothwell). Inconsistent players (Dack, Reed, Bell, Rodwell) And frankly those who have really disappointed (Mulgrew, Raya) Then the final category, squad pedestrians (Bennett, Conway, Evans, Smallwood) To be honest the only players apart from Graham who has exceeded my expectations were Armstrong (who could arguably go to the inconsistent players list) and Travis. 1-Graham 2-Armstrong 3- Travis
  8. That's true, but they have still spent peanuts. Testament to the job Parkinson is doing there. If they manage to stay up and we go down, something has gone very, very badly wrong here.
  9. I don't think enough clubs get done at all to be honest. A point deduction would be fine. The sooner we are mathematically safe the better!
  10. How would fining the club help the regular staff? As usual the FA have left it too late to do anything
  11. If the clubs you mention ,us included, manage to get less points than a team who are going through the off field turmoil Bolton are, then we would deserve to go down.
  12. On what grounds? Would be really kicking them when they are down
  13. Ouch. That's a costly clusterfuck
  14. Yep city all the way. Liverpool fans would be insufferable, plus I don't want another new team to win the Premier league
  15. Watched the goals last night. They do not make pleasant viewing. Their first goal would have been bad to concede in Sunday league. Pathetic. Their second(the one where Raya and Bell left it to each other) wasn't much better, arguably worse. The Raya-Mulgrew-Rodwell axes has been shown to be an unmitigated failure. The 3 of them do not compliment each other and their weaknesses compound each others. Downing would have been a better option that one of them. As for Raya, great shot stopper but not good enough in the air for this level. Been found out time and time again. If I was the manager of a team playing us my instructions would be simple "test the keeper with high balls into the box" . A huge lack of leadership and controlled aggression in defence. A physical striker like Birmingham had the week previous and Rotherham last weekend, won't have much easier opponents than Mulgrew , Rodwell and Raya. The Mulgrew and Rodwell combination might work if they played together for Barcelona when Pep was manager. The two of them at this level, with Raya are just not good enough defensively.
  16. Not even bringing in a loan or 2 to freshen things up was frankly criminal
  17. Didn't watch today in any capacity as I'm sick of this season, going off Rich Sharpes it sounded like we were more pathetic than usual though. What a shocking collapse since January. Borderline sackable at this stage. We will lose heavily next weekend , I have no doubt about that. So could be 8 points off relegation then. Tony has made a balls of it since winning manager of the month
  18. What does this mean? I am thinking about flying over to it. Would you not advise just rocking up on the day?
  19. Could I get a ticket on the gate for this?
  20. Friedel Emerton Moran Samba Le Saux Savage Tugay Bentley Dack Duff Shearer My favourites really. A good balance of soldiers and artists.
  21. Which sounds odd as he hasn't even started a game for them yet
  22. I do. People have gotten lighter sentences for murder!
