I think you have the wrong man alright. I spend a fair bit of time calling people on negativity, probably too much ? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. At the end of the day this is an open forum. Well moderated, so things don't get nasty or personal. I have noticed that this season is unanimously far more positive. The team is slowly winning people back. Everyone loves Mowbray, but even I think some of what he does is peculiar. Like 5% maybe and its OK to discuss that. He has and is doing far more good than bad.

The only two footed player we have is Rodwell. It's a great skill, but if you have a winger who is two footed and good at crossing, he won't be paying with us I reckon Armstrong would be better on the right. I presume he is left so that he can cut in, but he ain't great at that on a regular basis. Our crossing in general needs major work

Bell has a better touch and is a better dribbler than Williams. Williams is far more solid definsivley

The biggest criticism I would level at McCarthys reign was that ye clearly had no long term end goal. With the financial backing he got the best you could have hoped for was survival. He exceeded that. Ye will be hard pressed to find another manager who can turn water into wine!

I don't think he is suited to the wing/inside forward position because he is too lanky. You need a lad with a bit of nippyness(made up word) I feel. Armstrong isnt perfect, he has one trick-kick and chase. That works if he has better acceleration than the full back. So I can tell very early watching a game if Armstrong had the beating of his man, I think we all can. I think you mentioned it earlier and I agree wholeheartedly, Brereton needs to be number 2 to Graham. Ahead of anyone else. He's not a winger
