He has just joined Instagram for those of you with accounts. One of his first pics is of him in his Rovers jersey. He also liked the pic the official account shared of the lads celebrating at the weekend -

Hindsight is a great thing Is this game on ifollow? -
Fair enough points in the first two paragraphs, but I think your last paragraph is unfair. I don't think those saying he did well yesterday are doing it from any point of syubberness to defend Mowbray, they just think he played well. Either way, it's far too early to judge definitively. Forrest fans are pretty unanimous that he isn't limited though.
-
I can see it coming a mile away. Some will never warm to Brereton because of the price tag.
-
You said he hasn't played well yet. I and many others, the majority I would say, think he did well yesterday.
-
What about when people say give the young lad time, do you hate that too? Numerous posts in the previous few pages with people saying they hope we have some way of wiggling out of the deal. Are they being negative? It works both ways. I'm all for discussion, but if some keep saying he is the new Kevin Davies, isn't up to it, hope it isn't actually a done deal in January etc, I reserve my right to call them negative.
-
I had a feeling we would start well this season, but ultimately fall away. Part of me now thinks getting in Reed and Rodwell has given us real strength in depth. If we get to January without any major injuries, if the investment is made to add a couple of real quality, I think we can stay in the play off places.
-
It's upfront. I think everyone knows that. I suppose Armstrong wad the same when he got here and he got man of the match yesterday playing inside forward. I would like to see Brereton play upfront, but have to give Mowbray the benefit of the doubt. He has earnt that
-
He did well yesterday, but ignore that to suit your narrative
-
I was thinking about his cameos. I wonder is Mowbray introducing him out wide rather than through the middle to let him play his way into form with less pressure. If he started or even came on upfront and had a bad games, would be a lot of pressure on the lad. There is pressure now, but he is being played out of position so that deflects from even more pressure and expectation

Why? I could understand the reality check against Sheffield United. They are top of the league, but Swansea? -
I don't think he would force a move through, but you would never know for definite when a club who feature in the champions league fairly regularly come calling. I hope he stays here for the season and gets an England call up. Best for all I think. If he keeps going as he has been in the first quarter of the season, he will score 20 plus league goals. We will get some serious bids during the summer. Grealish has goal scoring stats nowhere near that and 35 million was mentioned there.
-
I hope he stays and gets an England call up while here. I think spurs would be a bad move at this point. We know what they will do anyway. Because they think they are so attractive, they will bid 15 million and hope he forces a move through. Watch it

Would take a point but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if we won. To be honest I would be more surprised if we lost -
If we held on against villa, we would be a win away from going top. What a season so far. Tight, tight table though. A couple of wins we go top, a couple of defeats we end up out of the top 10
-
It's not that. It's fans who the second the game is over come on here to criticize a player. We won the game. Why don't they go to the Reed thread and say he played well? Or the Rodwell one? No, straight on here to have a questionable pop at a young lad. Anyway, it's a bit strange that he wasn't brought on upfront today. Especially considering Mowbrays comments about his scoring the most goals in training. Anyways, we won, so Mowbray can do what he wants
-
His quality is very clear to see. Long may it continue
-
Oh come on, is that your major take away from today? He has things he needs to improve, but give him time. We are 5th and he is getting game time.
