  1. I would be more disappointed if he left on a free
  2. Where did you see this? I don't recall reading or seeing Mowbray say this
  3. Not true. You just notice it more with Dack http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/10/07/tt-report-huddersfield-plot-eight-figure-bid-for-brentfords-neal/ https://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/sport/leicester-plan-to-recall-harvey-barnes-from-loan-spell-at-west-brom-874753.html https://readceltic.com/2018/10/08/celtic-target-nick-powell-turns-down-wigan-contract/ https://en.onefootball.com/three-premier-league-clubs-eyeing-move-for-leeds-striker-kemar-roofe/ Most players who started the season well will be linked with moves
  4. He is being linked because he is a brilliant player who is scoring regularly in the Championship. No conspiracy to see here!
  5. Actually Oldgregg86 and blueboy3333 commented on my thread. Can their posts be carried over? I feel a bit like Billy no mates with the comments gone
  6. Why I oughtta!! No bother. Thanks for getting back so quickly
  7. I thought the mods were going to pin my thread? This is a bit of a mess now. After I went to the bother of writing it, I didn't think it would just become a post in someone's else's match thread
  8. Ok, just did it there
  9. Leeds are one team whose fans could claim to have had a wilder ride than us in recent times. They flirted with greatness in the late 90s and early noughties, getting to both a UEFA cup and Champions league semi final. Since then it has been one well publicised mess after another. Have they finally gotten things right this season? Early signs last season were promising too, before they fell away. The main reason their fans would have for genuine optimism this season is the appointment of the legendary coach Marco Bielsa. This guy has literally managed and had success around the world and it looks a real coup on Leeds behalf appointing him. As we know all too well though, the championship is a tough, tough battle to get out of. Can we be the ones to officially end the honeymoon for Marco? Recent results seem to suggest that their lightening start to the season has lost some of its buzz. Their last 6 league results have been; DWLDWD So, who has played for both teams? Here is Bigg Doggs mixed bag 11 , in our current formation for your viewing pleasure Robinson Grayson Matteo Kilgallon Warnock Batty Douglas Wilcox El-Hadji Diouf Sellars Fowler Bench- Luke Varney Have I forgotten anyone? When I think of Leeds United, this is the goal that always comes to mind. To me it epitomizes the excitement of that time period in the Premier league. Boom , have it. So after Tonys tinkering last game out, all bets are off with guessing the starting 11. Most of us welcomed the changes and whilst not a vintage performance, we got the desired result. We are up against a very different animal this game. Mistakes will be punished and missed chances will come back to bite us. My 11 would be Raya Bennett Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Rodwell Evans Rothwell Dack Palmer Graham Prediction 2-1 Rovers They are apparently bringing 8,000 fans, which is quite incredible. Should be a great atmosphere. Arte et labore
  10. What?? Do you not realise how much other teams have spent?
  11. I don't think its as simple as just being able to resign if you have a contract I hope it's a long term deal anyway. We need to let him plan
  12. If he keeps going as he is there will be plenty of clubs interested. Won't be so daft if that happens and we have him under contract. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't buck the trend and actually let a manager plan long term. You're the very one who will be on here complaining if he left because his contract was running down and another club came calling
  13. Give him a 6 year year deal. We won't get a better man to manage the club. He is a good fit for us, and vice versa. A hammer blow would be if he gets us top 10 and then another club poached him. His stock is rising here.
  14. I was down for the Leeds match preview, but seems someone jumped the queue. No need for the confusion of having 2, so I will step to the side and leave this one to run.
  15. He's young. He could be there yet
  16. Lenihan should be nowhere near midfield. I see nothing in his technical ability and distribution to put him there. The only reason would be that he would be less likely to give away a penalty
  17. Evans and Reed for me too. Although a fit Rodwell could improve on both
  18. It was some respite front he stress when he got the ball
  19. Mowbray is honest, so I'm not surprised he is underwhelmed. Not sure what else he can do though, he signed Palmer and Armstrong for their attacking flair and both were pretty shit today. Dack poor too. It was a war of attrition so he went for this two soldiers in the middle. Luckily it worked out
  20. Well done Evans. We need to stop the flow
