  1. I reckon we will win 3-1. Did us -1 in the bookies. I think this team has enough about them to give us a performance and bounce back after Wednesday.
  2. As a Rovers fan, I would be happy with them appointing Moyes or Smith. A couple of my mates support them and the delusional fools thought they were going to get Rodgers
  3. Dack is an intelligent footballer, it's easy to see that. There is just far too much pressure on him to be our creative influence. We need to get Rothwell and Palmer in the team at home. Dack is surrounded by Bennett, Reed, Smallwood and Evans. Solid players, but you would not say they are prolific goal scorers and/or assist machines. When Graham is taken out of the game, the supply to Dack is choked up, hence why he had to crop deep to try and make something happen
  4. I think the exact same. I honestly think Mcgregor has got to Khabib mentally. He did not look healthy last night. I know the weight cuts are crazy, but only one of the 2 looked in good shape to me
  5. Ya, that was worrying. Mowbray gave them Sunday off training I read hopefully some weren't out on the tear. If it's just fatigue, well it might be time to make a couple of key changes.
  6. Ya, we were poor in many home games last season, particularly in the 1st half. The gulf in quality meant we went on to win so many games. The difference is this season we won't get away with it
  7. Jaysus, maybe not at the moment.. Could be drastically improving some prison team shortly though
  8. I don't think Patrick Bamford would be the signing who would get us promoted
  9. I'm sure their tiny little footballer brains have the processing power to prepare to play in 2 different formations/systems. I would put both goals down to individual players making mistakes by losing concentration and leaving Sharpe unmarked in the box. Absolute rookie move
  10. I agree. I fancy us more away from home than at home. It was the same last season. If Mowbray can just get us attacking more at home, we would be in with a shout of the play offs. I think it means definitely different personnel and possibly even two formations
  11. Perhaps, but plenty to prove. You are also looking at much larger wages
  12. Imagine, a player getting inured. How does this only happen us???
  13. I think we were in for Wilson weren't we? Mount looks a cracking player. I think the jury is very much out on whether Hehmed, Martin or Wells would be improvements on what we have. I would have taken Weimann and Norwood alright, good players at this level, especially Norwood. Not sure how much the fees were for Norwood, Watkins or Mckay though
  14. 2 massive exceptions to the rule then
  15. Which nobody met. Interesting, no? Not sure what that came down to for a finish, but it was surprising he didn't move. Well , at least you offered a suggestion anyway. Suspect there may be some attitude problems at play, but part of me agrees with you about him, going off what I saw of him last season, ability wise he may have been a better option this season than Armstrong.
  16. No,it's not your job, but you are able to run the rule over Brereton and say we should have spent the money differently. Asking for examples of how we should have spent it is a pretty simple and straight forward request. The "it's not my job" brigade are able to say we we could have spent the money better, yet can't back this up with examples. I find it odd. How can you say we could have spent the money better, if you don't have an alternative in mind?
  17. Ya, lets do that so. Fire away
  18. You can't say which players moved for £2 million or under that would have improved our squad? That's poor now. See it's easy to say we should have spent the Brereton money differently, but to actually back that up with concrete examples of how seems beyond some of you
  19. Didn't affect Alex Ferguson too much
  20. Are you following the conversation at all? JHrover said we should have spent £2 million each on 4 players instead of signing Brereton. I then asked who moved for £2 million that would have improved our squad. I don't think the question can be anymore straight forward. I am keeping it even more straight forward for you by not including payers who didn't move
  21. Because they moved clubs, so therefore they were available. Pretty simple to understand
  22. He didn't move during the summer, so no guarantee we would have got him for 2 million or that he would improve us
  23. He is always tightly marked though. Their formation caused us problems, which is worrying as Mowbray knew what to expect there. He showed some doubt as to our best approach, which is very dangerous. I think 3 at the back may be the way to go against Bolton, with Bell and Bennett offering width
