Best Starting Eleven 2018/19 Season
Bigdoggsteel replied to Trinidad Rover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I can't see him being dropped and rightly so. The energy he brings is infectious -
He tweeted last night to a celtic fan who asked him if he would go back there that he is looking forward to the season with Blackburn Rovers. Lets put that rumour to bed quickly
-
I have read a lot of Forest fans say he got boo'ed a lot. They said he was boo'ed if he took a shot and missed and was boo'ed if he passed it. Apparently they expected him to be Mbappe after his debut.
-
We do!
-
Be funny if they stuck his head on Nyambes body
-
Yes, it was tongue in cheek obviously, so stop giving out to me I would prefer having Chapman on the bench than a number who are currently occupying places. With the squad we have, I just could never see him nailing down a starting place though. Still, that thing he has gets people up off their seats. It's kind of interesting though that Pulis played him in pre-season, he scored and got a few assists ,but Pulis still thought "nah, not for me". Anyway, their loss could be our gain.
-
Need for what? I don't see anybody getting shut down. I just see some over sensitive types who don't like having their "valid points" dissected. At this stage, I would be happy with Chapman too, as he would give us something different. However, I am around 80% sure that he is going to be consistently plagued by injury
-
And you are part of it!
-
The probably publish around 2 rovers stories a year
-
That wouldn't stop you getting injured
-
So ,basically they are all full of shit!
-
Hart is with the under 23s now. Where I would imagine he was signed for
-
Guaranteed some would
-
We have a limited number we can include in a match day squad. I doubt that will ever be an issue. It would have been ideal to have the Brereton deal done before the transfer window closed, but at the end of the day ,it's one loan spot until January. It is pretty much insignificant and ultimately the most important thing is that the deal gets done
-
12, he wants 12 strikers.
-
No, but we need bodies in midfield too. Going to be a long ,hard season
-
We are about to sign Brereton and another on loan according to Rich Sharpe, so I am pretty sure that signing Reed has no impact on us signing forwards.
-
Ya, exactly. So why are people moaning about us signing Reed? We have a long, hard season ahead of us I bet if we sign 3 strikers between now and Friday, they would be complaining that we have too many strikers
-
We need players in center midfield. Mowbray expects the 2 in there to cover serious ground. Over a long hard season I am sure Mowbrays decision to stock up there will be vindicated. Besides, signing midfielders doesn't stop us signing forwards!
-
Graham has played 90 minutes in a number of games this season. Armstrong will be back in a week or 2. We are about to sign Brereton It seems you have a problem if Reed takes someones place or if he sits on the bench. Which is it? I honestly think that if Mowbray gets us back to the Premier league, some fans will be on here pointing out that his record isn't that great as he signed Gladwin.
-
I am not completely sold on Chapman, but I would be disappointed if he went to Sheffield united. I still think he would be a risk as a replacement for Samuel though. He has had a lot of injuries for a young lad. Samuel will surely be out til at least January, so I would imagine we will be getting a replacement on loan. Tough on Samuel, it was a nothing incident that led to the injury. Just shows how easy these things can happen. It's getting harder and harder to see Samuel every really getting going here.
-
I have literally no idea how you find that strange. Obviously a season long loan deal would take less time to sort than a deal costing millions
-
Failed to nail down a place anywhere? Last season was his first full one away from Southampton. He went to Norwich and played almost 40 games Where does Mowbray promise him regular first team football? All I have read from Mowbray is every player who comes in will need to fight for their place. Your last sentence confuses me, are you worried that he will take someones place or that he will be a bench warmer?
-
We haven't signed him officially yet, but we are all talking like we have. Picture Armageddon if something goes wrong between now and Friday!
-
I presume we will keep using the the same tactics and formation we have used for the last season and a half. The two of them may be a good future pairing though
